2024-10-25 00:53:57 +0000 UTCthere are huge spoilers and missing context. half the premise is borrowed from loki's story universe

2024-10-25 00:25:44 +0000 UTCI haven't seen Loki and it didn't ruin D&W at all for me... as far as I know.

2024-10-24 20:42:50 +0000 UTCDon't forget about loki series before Deadpool and wolverine.

2024-10-24 19:19:21 +0000 UTCWow man!! That's one for the books ta see on the big screen. I made sure to get the physical media on that one. Same with Mad Max - Fury Road , and The Mist. I will do the same with Godzilla Minus-One . (I have digitals for both versions , but I will buy the physical when it comes out.)I grew up watching B&W horror ,and TV shows. So I love a good one. Fun fact - George Miller wanted to make a Mad Max film in B&W since seeing a B&W production version Brian May was watching while scoring The Road Warrior. Hence the " Black and Chrome " edition. Which he say's is "The best version of Fury Road." I've watched The Road Warrior and Mad Max a few time's with the settings on B&W and I just wish he would do it with proper equipment . IMHO : ] Peace

2024-10-24 07:42:03 +0000 UTCYes Loki is essential

2024-10-23 06:16:16 +0000 UTCThis is an amazing one on rewatch. You pick up so many subtle details that clue you in to the ending of the movie and Logan’s poisoning such as the corn starch in food products and all the whiskey Logan consumes on top of his adamantium. And as you say it’s upset to say goodbye, but alas it’s not the end for now, there’s still stories to tell.
Isaac
2024-10-23 06:15:55 +0000 UTCDeadpool 2, (Blade, if you haven't seen it) then Deadpool and Wolverine.
Scott Asher
2024-10-23 04:28:33 +0000 UTCI pray whom ever is putting together your play list does this right from here on out, otherwise I'm going to spend the next 6 months yelling at my monitor every Tuesday. The order is going to be very specific as to not lose context or have things spoiled. The Loki series is very important to this.

2024-10-23 01:11:19 +0000 UTCThis was essentially the conclusion of the Fox run of X-Men films. The remaining films are basically a few epilogues to wrap up loose ends. (plus one spin-off that really isn't related too much).

2024-10-22 18:34:17 +0000 UTCwatch the new Deadpool next! You'll love it! :)

2024-10-22 17:34:30 +0000 UTCAnd that's it, the last of the main-line X-men movies, from Fox at least. "Losing Wolverine is like losing Iron Man, where do you go from there?" They at least had the sense to make this end, The End, unlike the MCU that kinda flailed about for awhile after Endgame.

2024-10-22 17:20:33 +0000 UTCSeems you completely misjudged this one. This was thankfully not Disney, if it was no way in hell it could get this deep.

2024-10-22 15:35:08 +0000 UTCI got to see the Noir Cute in a theater back a few years ago and it was pretty great. The director was going for a "modern western" kind of film and the black and white just made it that much more epic. Plus if i recall correctly, they had to tweak the post production effects to make the black and white look good and it was an amazing thing to watch.

2024-10-22 14:35:09 +0000 UTCPhysically and mentally. I think the physical pain he can withstand. Its the emotional pain he needs the alcohol for.
David Melo
2024-10-22 14:31:01 +0000 UTCAnd yes, can confirm. All the fancy high-tech stuff in your all-wheel-drive system is useless for pulling you out of a ditch if you're on Highway Tires.
Molly McAllister
2024-10-22 14:05:44 +0000 UTCI wonder if the alcoholism is self-medication, Logan must be in immense constant pain.
Molly McAllister
2024-10-22 13:12:50 +0000 UTCYes but it was also mentioned that their food supply was poisoned as well to eradicate the mutant gene which I think weakened Logan and contributed to the adamantium killing him too

2024-10-22 12:53:30 +0000 UTCNot sure if you heard what they were saying on the radio after Charles hotel room seizure scene... But they eluded to the fact that Xavier may have accidentally killed some members of the X-Men during the "west Chester" incident. That's why Logan turned it off so fast

2024-10-22 12:49:24 +0000 UTCRemember, this is Fox, pre buy-out, NOT Disney.

2024-10-22 11:30:33 +0000 UTCLogan anamatium poisoning slowed his healing factor which caused him to age fast. He's 200 yrs old. Also caliban is the guy who is albino. He was in X-Men apocalypse just much younger.
Rashad Walker
2024-10-22 11:15:43 +0000 UTCAs brought-up elsewhere, Adamantium poisoning. Adamantium in-universe is a highly toxic metal, like most heavy-metals. His healing-factor wasn't just needed to survive the trauma of the initial bonding process, but to keep going with that stuff inside him. He survived so long with minimal aging because it was just him and his healing factor. Him plus his healing factor plus Adamantium = Old Man Logan. (In the comic-books it was more spelled-out how his adamantium made him effectively indestructible but it also limited his healing factor, Magneto pulls the adamantium out of Wolverine in one of the most brutal scenes in comic-book history and afterwards Wolverine is shown recovering in seconds from wounds that would take minutes or hours to heal previously... he also started becoming more and more feral until he was re-bonded with Adamantium.)
Molly McAllister
2024-10-22 10:24:59 +0000 UTCThose are bullets, not cartridges, being spit-out of Logan's body at the start of the movie. They look like basic-bitch .45 ACP, which is pretty low-velocity and wouldn't expand very well.

2024-10-22 10:16:15 +0000 UTCYou should check out Logan the Wolf short film on your yt channel. It’s insanely dope.

2024-10-22 09:22:10 +0000 UTCAnnd we're done. DAMN!! Hella reaction!! What a long , amazing journey Sir. I am so glad you got so involved with all the characters in these films. I know some "backstory" /factoids for this one , but there are others who comment here that can do it MUCH better than I , so I will defer to them. I dig your uncertainty for a re-watch of Logan , but I HIGHLY suggest any that you , and any real fan of this film watch the Noir Cut .(Black and white) It does so much for the story and the style . IMO If any others have seen that cut , I would love to know your thoughts. Thanks as always for an amazing reaction Sir. Peace

2024-10-22 09:16:18 +0000 UTCThe director wanted to start the film off with Charles' first seizure causing the dea*h of the team, Westchester incident, but decided to focus solely on Logan. Besides the Deadpool sequels, this is pretty much the end of Fox's X-Men characters. They're still working on officially "introducing" the X-Men to the MCU.

2024-10-22 07:40:45 +0000 UTCAt this point, Hugh Jackman has been playing Wolverine for nearly two full decades, and this movie was meant to send off not only the character, but also Jackman’s portrayal. This is one of the most beloved movies of all the X-men movies, because they didn’t pull punches. Not counting Deadpool, this was the first R-rated X-men movie. They displayed Logan’s final, gritty, gory days as they should have. With that being said, Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool and was the key figure pushing for the Deadpool movies to be made, begged Jackman to come back as Wolverine. Finally, after years, in 2024, we got the third Deadpool movie, titled Deadpool and Wolverine. Really excited for when you finally get to that one.

2024-10-22 06:47:40 +0000 UTC20:19 - Spotted Dick is a British steamed pudding ,(it's actually more like a moist cake) with suet, dried raisins , and some berries. There are also a few other kinds. Often served with vanilla custard. Not Herpes. HUGE difference. LOL

2024-10-22 06:28:30 +0000 UTCso in the comics Laura, or X-23, is Wolverine's clone. But the community typically refers to her as his daughter. She was created in the X-Men Evolution animated series in the early 2000's. Only her Claws (2 in her each hand and 1 in each foot) are coated in adamatium and not her entire skeleton. This movie combines the X-23 story and the Old Man Logan story. I know current day disney/marvel/star wars has a tendency to create characters to replace legacy characters, but she's a legitimate character that the fans love and not a propaganda piece created to replace and demonize men.
