He really loved them, he loved helping them, and it gave him value he didn't previously have before. Also, maybe he transferred his grief from his brother onto her? Or maybe it was to illustrate how little he thought of his brother that he was more upset about this "acquantences" death than his own brother

"I want full surveilance, low profile, they know were watching, we just dont want to stick it in their faces" This suggests to me: a) They were watching Walt's lab "low profile" the entire time b) They put the obvious camera up after he acted out purely to psych him out and "stick it in his face"

I personally like that version of Big Rock Candy Mountain (which as you suspected is a very old song, originally released in 1928) but I can see how if you aren't familiar with the song, it is a bit of an odd one :). One of those songs where I'm so familiar with it just due to it being around so long and being exposed to it at a young age, that I've never actually really paid close attention to the actual lyrics and noticed how weird they are :).

She saw the WM doodles and doesn't want to go back to WM. And she has a weird guilt working for big business. Thus she offsets her banking work with Public Defense. Kim is an onion. She has a lot of layers to her personality. It isn't stress. Well, maybe a little but seeing WM set her off immediately. She doesn't want to work with Jimmy which is understandable.
