Next movies and series (aka next phase) are quite a bit weaker, with few exceptions. Best one for me is the "What If" animated series. It basically shows you, what would happen, if there were few different decisions made or some different external threat happened. I'd suggest to watch DC stuff next and then "Invincible" series (just the first episode made "The Boys" look like just mildly brutal version of it, I cannot imagine live action Invincible series irl). It is very Marvel and DC inspired, with insane non-cliche twists included.

So I guess that's the reason he can hold an infinity stone like it's just some kind of pebble. EDIT: Oh, Flint could hold the stone too, my bad. Maybe the Soul Stone is different because of the sacrifice? No idea... They did him really dirty in Infinity War, but there was inner battle going inside of him, so I guess that's the reason Thanos knocked him down so easily.

this was great! I never noticed that Gamora wasn't there at the end. They also REALLY phoned in that girl power stuff in the last fight. Love your input on this one though. I don't know what you're going to do going forward. i know there are some upcoming complications. a couple of mini series between different films. I know one of the films pretty much requires you to go back and watch previous iterations of spiderman movies. Venom plays a part someone but i'm not sure where. it really kind of becomes messy after this. worth watching if you are willing to, but messy.

My theory on why New York is so desolate. Half of the population disappeared, but that doesn't mean half of the population disappeared evenly throughout the states. Could be 75% or more of the people in New York were a part of that overall 50%. I think Thanos said in the last film that it was random. There could be an entire state where no one was lost at all. Very improbable, but not impossible.

Quick question because I know that in theory a 50% loss of human life would likely be good for our planet's survival. When you factor in that it could be your wife or kids, does that impact your overall opinion? I know that if I had the potential to lose anyone in my family due to this (poor Hawkeye, lost his entire family) I don't think I could handle that kind of loss myself, even for the survival of the planet. Damn Sir , outstanding reaction!!!!! Seeing your progression with the MCU has been a kick-ass ride! Yes , it sux they killed of Tony , and Cap , and Nat , but there are still a few good things left to watch. As to which Marvel , if any yo watch next I will be here watchin along with SOME of it. Not all. I hope for Spider-man , Dr Strange , What If ? Season 1 ONLY!! and Shang Chi myself. There are some great TV shows for Marvel , but that's a shit-ton of viewing time. (Netflix shows , Wandavision , and a couple others.) Lets not forget the Fox Marvel stuff as well. (X-Men , Fantastic Four , then the 3 Blade movies , 3 Punisher movies +TV ) And I think it's safe to say we ALL want to see you react to the Deadpool films.(But to get to them , ya need some Fox Marvel) IMO , you should take a few movie's break from franchise superhero flix and try things like The Incredibles , Chronical , Brightburn , or Sky High , then come back. A few things. In this world, travelling through time doesn't change the past or your own universe; it just creates an alternative dimension. The writers confirmed that Steve lived in an alternative dimension till Peggy died, then came back to his original one. Also, the Ancient One didn't mean that destroying or removing the stones would destroy the universe. The main universe is fine with the stones destroyed. She just meant that Strange would need the time stone to stop Durmamu when he was summoned in his own movie. So basically, two extra timelines were created. One splitting off from 2014, a universe with no Thanos, and one splitting off from 2012, one where Loki escaped Earth with the space stone. Steve returned the other stones (and Thor's hammer), though he couldn't replace the one Loki took in 2012 and had to return the one they took from the S.H.I.E.L.D. base in 1970. And yes, the plan was to retire three Avengers. The actors wanted to move on, but I think they managed to get Johanson back for a Black Widow prequel, though I heard they tried to stiff her on her fee, so I doubt she will be back. This is where I stopped caring about Disney Marvel. I liked Spider-Man: Far From Home and loved Spider-Man: No Way Home, but that's Sony. I thought Venom was okay. I then watched Doctor Strange 2. But I haven't seen any other movies or the Disney Plus series. If you want my recommendation, watch the 3 Toby Maguire Spiderman movies, the 2 Andrew Garfield Spiderman movies, and the Venom Movies. End the Marvel movies with the last two Tom Holland Spiderman movies and the second Doctor Strange Movies. The rest of the Marvel movies will require many mediocre TV shows to understand mediocre to bad movies. I'm not saying you can't watch everything. It's just from here on, it requires a lot of hours to understand everything, and I doubt your patrons will be interested in that when you could be watching other things.

Whew, what a movie! I was in awe watching Spider Man being flung thru the air while in the theater. This is where it kinda goes downhill though. All of the films up until the end of the next Spider Man movie were apart of The Infinity Saga. We're now in the Multiverse Saga where I'd say the shows do most of the heavy-lifting as far as establishing storyline as opposed to the movies. No spoiler but you honestly can skip half of the movies/shows after Spider-Man: Far From Home to "catch up"; you're not really missing much. WandaVision, Shang Chi, Loki, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Dr Strange 2, Antman 3, and GOTG 3 are the must-sees. Definitely watch Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy and Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2 before watching No Way Home though.

Ok. After Reading all the comments after watching I want to say a few things. 1. This has been an incredible journey. Seeing your reactions to this franchise over the last 7 months has been a weekly treat. I very much hope to see it continue. 2. A lot of people, ive noticed, dont see the parallel between this film and the first Avengers movie. In the first Avengers film, before the fight on the helicarrier, the team is having an argument in the lab. Tony tells Captain America that he was made in a lab. That everything special about him came from a bottle. Meanwhile Captain America told Tony that he wasnt a soldier. That he wasnt the kind of man to make the sacrifice play, to lay down on the wire for his fellow man. This film readdressed both of these. Tony sacrificed his life for everyone with his snap, and while Caps abilities came from a bottle, his worthiness of the power of Thor came purely from the man he is. I appreciate this callback and attention to detail that so many seemed to have missed. 3. A small but minor detail. At the wake for Tony there was a boy, a teenager standing alone near the cabin. You only see him briefly, but his is the child that helped Tony in Iron Man 3. 4. Last but certainly not least. There is a deleted scene, or at least I assume deleted since I dont see it in the version you watched. It shows everyone taking a knee when Tony dies. Most of which were at his wake. This one human had one hell of a wake. A king, a god, every hero known on earth (at the time). It shows the incredible respect they all had for him, not only as a person, but as what us fans know him as as the godfather of the MCU. With that off my chest I will bid you good evening. One last thought, make sure youve seen all the previous Spiderman films before watching the 3rd one here.

Thanos held it and used it to get Captain Marvel away from him. The two beings that held an Infinity stone in this were Hulk and Hawkeye. Hulk is just powerful enough. Now Hawkeye is another story. There are two theory's here. One is that because he made the sacrifice to get the stone, he was able to hold it. Personally this is my preference. The other, is that like Iron Man in 1970, he didnt hold it with his bare hand but a gloved hand thus he was able to hold it.

Great reaction as always! As far as writing out the actors, it might not have been Marvel's decision. The actors have been in these roles a very long time; maybe they were just done and didn't resign their contract. Actors can quit their jobs like anyone else. I'm not sure if that is the case here; I'm just sharing the possibility.

A few things. This so far was the high mark. The writers strike, the merger of Fox/Marvel, and then the lssue with the next big villain they had setup, they fired because he was convicted of beating his GF. Lots of momentum lost, I think the failure of Star Wars has spilled over a bit into Marvel. And also played a role. Contracts were getting pretty high for Robert Downey and Chris Evans, and even Scarlet Johansen. They had worked off there original deals and were not under contract any longer. Downey had complained that after a decade he was looking for change and was tired of the role. Evans said he was done also. Hard to play superheroes in your 40's and 50's Now to speak of you being confused about the need to feel connected still to people that are obviously no longer here. Well now you are asking the age old question about religion and heaven/hell and god/ spirituality. In the movie I believe when the were talking about them knowing they won, she was referring to them being in a "heaven" and being able to know. I am curious what MrLBoyd opinion on religion. In many ways you have a bit of Spock in you where logic is the only thing that matters. Religion and spirituality lands more in believing in things that arent logical. What is your opinion on spirituality?

The different stones react differently you don't have to be extremely powerful for all of the stones. The purple one is the power stone which makes sense that u would have to be extremely powerful to hold it. But the time stone the soul stone don't necessarily require you to be powerful for instance the soul stone requires you to sacrifice someone you love in order to possess it not be strong.

Moving on is important. and death is part of life. But I disagree with you in practice, sir... I lost both my folks within a month of each other, three years ago. Between them, my favorite uncle, and a friend I'd known since elementary school. My folks were the biggies obviously, but I don't know man, that amount of trauma can be shattering. I'm a strong person, and honest with myself, and genuinely not afraid of death... "When I am, death is not. And when death is, I am not." Is most basic logic. But when all that stuff happened, I tried to feel my feelings, and keep it pushing. I had to handle affairs for both of them. And too many people were depending on me to break down... And with me, I felt like I was processing grief effectively. Had waste-of-money therapists tell me the same... But that shit broke me. Like for years, would catch myself about to cry at work, in the shower, in fucking Target. Just these random upwellings of raw emotion. Fucking horrible. I seem to be over that shit, thank god, but damn... Imagine if half the people you know, half the people you love, your kids, wife, parents, friends... Were just gone all at once? Processing grief and loss is important. But I don't think our minds were meant to process that amount of grief all at once. It changes you forever. Hahahahahahaha, WOO!!! Jesus... 🎶Feeeeeeeeeliiiiings...🎶

Not sure if you plan on continuing or not, some reactors end here. Overall the MCU starts to go downhill but there are still some great things after Endgame. They connect with each other and the universe a lot less so if you feel the need to skip series etc it isn't a big deal. - WandaVision series is really great but you absolutely have to make it past episode 3 because it's very confusing and strange at first (intentionally). - Spiderman Movies 2 and 3 -Shang Chi & Legend of Ten Rings is beautifully filmed. - Dr. strange 2 is different but awesome but also relies on WandaVision having been seen. - Guardians 3 - Because of your love for how films look and cinematography, I think you will like The Eternals. It's beautiful to look at. - Loki series is good but I know you're not a fan of him - Moon Knight is incredible and separate and different from anything the MCU so far

I'm still 4 or 5 movies behind on this MCU watch along "series", but Endgame is where I pretty where I got off the train the first time and I'll probably do the same with this watch along. Maybe Marvel can get their mojo back at some point but after this movie, the law of diminishing returns starts to take effect. I'm tempted to write IMHO, but at this point, it's pretty much the popular consensus. Though I obviously hope MRLBOYD enjoys these movies to the point if/when he stops watching the latter movies/shows on the channel. I DID enjoy LOKI Season 1 (haven't seen the next).
