2024-07-26 01:40:27 +0000 UTCDaemon cried in season 1 episode 10 mourning the death of his brother. He was crying after Rhaenyra gave stillbirth. So no, not the first time. But it is the first time he showed emotion with his words by showing remorse that he wasn't there for Viserys after the loss of his wife and child.

2024-07-25 04:43:37 +0000 UTCMr B, I think Daemon’s time in the haunted castle has been for a purpose: to face his rage, his regrets and his guilt, his tendency to run away rather than face emotional challenges, and emerge changed for the better. The final “haunting” or vision was different than the others, because instead of just being reminded that he behaved like an ass when his brother’s wife and baby died, this new Daemon imagines what should have happened: that he would have held his grieving brother in his arms. Dream Daemon tells Dream Visyeris, “I’m sorry. You needed me. But I’m here now.” It feels like the castle has finally made him a better man.
