2024-07-14 06:19:12 +0000 UTCJust to add context to why there is such a huge request for you to watch the orginal Sam raimi Tobey Mcguire Spider-Man trilogy is because there is a Spider-Man movie in the MCU that has alot of Easter eggs/FAN FARE that pays homage to the OG trilogy... not to say you won't still enjoy it without watching those... but I gotta be honest you would definitely appreciate it alot more having seeing those movies first. That's the most I can say without spoilers.

An unpopular opinion, but I do enjoy the dark cloud that is MJ. She serves a purpose in the films and I think she’s funny in the most dry way possible. And Ned… is just the perfect man in the chair to this Peter Parker.

You will miss half of the awesomeness of the last movie without the foundation of the previous live action trilogies.

He's one of the most strong supers in the marvel universe, but regarding his fisical strength, he is very very strong ... a lot more strong then a super soldier (cap america). He just controls a lot of his strength so he doens't kill anyone. The thing is, that he's very young in the beggining and doens't know a lot of his own super powers or any experince on the better way to use it. But what makes he so strong is the combination of all his powers, not just the fisical strengths ... He's a genius for starter (not a super power, but almost on par with tony stark), the web shooter and the web itself are his inventions, then there are the super strength, he can jump absurdty high, walk in walls and ceilings, and he has the spider sense, that is a type of 'alarm' that warns him of impending danger, and with his super high agility he's capable of reflex his way out of almost anything. So yeah, he's pretty strong haha

In the comics, his arche enemy switched consciousness' with him and the first person he punched, he crushes the guy's face. He realized that all those years against him, he really never stood a chance if he didn't hold back. Recently there was a comic where Peter gets mad at the avengers and he runs through then with ease, (Hulk wasnt there)

Also, yeah, it's a V-8... it's also by the looks of it a fleet vehicle, 1970s to 1980s model year so it's de-tuned and absolutely CHOKED with early anti-smog systems.

This movie doesn't show, Spiderman's origin or really his strength, powers etc and how getting them changed him because it had been shown in so many previous adaptations.

Yes , the origin story is waaay more in depth in the other films , but it's not that hard ta get the basics. The 60's cartoon theme song tells ya all ya need to know. "Spider-man , Spider-Man , does whatever a spider can." There. Done. (Ok , so not EVERYTHING a spider can , but cool enough. ) Edible eaten , beer cold , and cone ready to spark.
