Yes. Stannis got money from the iron bank in bravos. Bought himself an army and sailed them up to east watch by the sea. The first castle on the wall for the nights watch. It sits on the ocean.

2023-04-01 13:44:18 +0000 UTCI remember Jojen's actor, Thomas-Brody, in an interview regarding his character's death. Very humorously, he said something along the lines of; "So, I read the script and it was like.. ooooh. Well. I'm stabbed over and over and over. That's okay though, you know, maybe I'll be saved. Oh. No, my sister doesn't try to save me, she finishes me off. Okay. So then a skeleton turns me over. Okay! So I'm going to be undead now and be on the other side or something - that's cool! No, then I'm burned."

2023-03-30 06:27:23 +0000 UTCHe becomes even more likeable in the coming episodes, but we who has seen the show already know that.

2023-03-30 06:15:41 +0000 UTCNo problem bro. I feel it's much easier to watch this stuff to get backstory rather than getting snippets in the comments.

2023-03-30 00:24:40 +0000 UTCYou do like The Hound. This show is full of gray characters with great backstories that made them what they are. Under all of the filth, Clegane does have a line he won't cross.

2023-03-29 23:52:07 +0000 UTCIt was mentioned many times that there are multiple castles along the wall. Some completely unmanned at this point. I assume Stannis picked one of the unmanned outposts to cross over.

2023-03-29 20:23:19 +0000 UTCRight on! It also has the nicest intro with the most pleasant music. Just thinking about it puts me in a good mood:)

2023-03-29 11:46:04 +0000 UTCMance Raider. It wasn't about pride. It may have looked it, but it wasn't. It was about Principle. If Mance bent the knee, the Wildlings (assuming they somehow didn't instantly scatter to the four winds) would be on the hook for whatever whim Stannis would've cooked-up from then on. They would be given life and land, but they would never again be free.

2023-03-29 10:51:22 +0000 UTCTo answer ur questions yes most of the shots from in the north and in westeros is filmed in Scotland and the shots from the streets of kings landing and where khaleesi is at is filmed in Spain. Stannis got north of the wall by sailing to eastwatch by the sea another castle on the wall and went through there and traveled west to castle black. There are 19 castles on the wall only 3 of them are manned castle black eastwatch by the sea and the shadow tower in the west. They also left out an important part from the books when Jamie let's tyrion go he tells him that the first whore that he married wasn't actually a whore at all and that she actually loved him and that their dad made him tell him that so when he goes up there and finds Shae in his father's bed not only was he sleeping with the woman he loved but he is also a hypocrite in the fact that he always hated that tyrion slept with whores and he has been doing it the entire time he is in kings landing. And up until this point tyrions character has pretty much been dead on with the books and from here on out it starts to differ not gonna spoil how I'm looking forward to seeing ur reaction. Also shaes character in the show is significantly better than in the books in the books they don't fall in love she really is just a whore even George rr Martin preferred the way she was shown in the show better.

2023-03-29 09:49:10 +0000 UTCOpening of S5/E1: And here we see why Cersai could never rule, not because she's a woman, but because she's too petty and narrow-minded for it. Jaime, for all his faults, is spitting straight facts about what's going to happen in the here and now and Cersai is fixating on vengence against one man who's halfway across the planet by now.

2023-03-29 09:45:59 +0000 UTCnot sure if you remember, but the boy Jon Snow was going hard on and "training" in episode 1 is the one responsible for killing the woman he loved. also, at the end of episode one, did you see the wildlings faces as Mance started to burn? I think that if things had continued, and Mance had been left screaming in pain as he burned, the wildlings would have had none of it, and turned on everyone there. I think Jon Snow did the only reasonable thing to keep peace and order, as well as to let Mance die with his dignity intact.

2023-03-29 08:29:24 +0000 UTCI'll co-sign on this. Beautiful, wonderfully written, acted, strikingly violent. Almost bankrupted HBO. Ha! Yeah, I'd watch this along with y'all.

2023-03-29 08:12:00 +0000 UTCCiarán Hinds is a great actor. Please please please consider doing a reaction to HBO’s Rome where he played Cezar. It’s a fantastic show and only two seasons.

2023-03-29 06:52:57 +0000 UTCPride is a funny thing. It can make men great and it can unmake great men. Personally, I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees.

2023-03-29 06:25:23 +0000 UTCEpisode 1 - I'm with you bro. I'm absolutely kneeling above burning. And I was a soldier too lol. To hell with that. But I too get it. Pride is tough to overcome. I love how they make things with Danny so hard. No easy choices in ruling. She does need to learn to be more flexible though.

2023-03-29 06:15:29 +0000 UTChow you feel about the hound is how i feel about countless characters in the series. almost all of them have at least one good quality and are interesting, even if all around they are pretty awful. it’s why i love it so much. also yes it hurts pretty bad to be hit in the crotch being a woman too lol but probably not as much.

2023-03-29 06:09:24 +0000 UTCIt's perhaps not among the better fights in terms of choreography and filming, but I've always loved the fight between Brienne and The Hound. It's not some phoney "slay queen, slay" girl-boss moment like we see play out in so many poorly written shows. Brianne earns every second of her victory. She doesn't simply best The Hound with ease and get hardly a scratch to show for it. The Hound is a seriously skilled warrior, perhaps better than Brienne and almost certainly stronger, but she manages to beat him anyway because she has the sheer grit and will to win. She wouldn't permit any obstacle to keep her from fulfilling her oath to Catelyn Stark, even when facing the daunting and deadly Hound. She takes an absolutely vicious beating and deals it all right back to him. When she sent Clegane over the cliff, that's when she became my favorite character. She's all heart, and I love her for it.

2023-03-29 05:23:29 +0000 UTCFor episode 10 - there are 3 castles on the wall. Castle Black in the middle, The Shadow Tower on the western side by the mountains and Eastwatch by the Sea on the eastern side by the sea. Stannis sailed to Eastwatch by the Sea and rode west from there. They came bc they got that scroll from the Nights Watch talking about the white walkers then encountered the wildling battle when they got there. The Hound is a better fighter than Brienne but he was weakened by the infection from the "Fleabite". I too really like Bran's character. That little girl was one of the Children of the forest. You can learn about then in the history and lore videos. There is a video for each season I beleive. I will look them up and provide you the links here in a bit. Arya is such an amazing and one of my favorite characters. I was so happy she got the ending scene for this season as season 1 and 3 were Danny and season 2 was Army of the dead. This is my second favorite season of the series. 5 of the 10 episodes were mega episodes. 2,6,8,9 and 10. Just remember, all my homies hate Shae. 💯

2023-03-29 05:04:21 +0000 UTCThe wall dead ends at the sea. Ships can get around it from there and unload. I thought it was cool that the red headed northern girl Gwen (Rose Leslie) John was with? John (Kit Harinhton) and her are actually married.
