Thunderhill V12

Hi,

Today I have a large update (yes another one) for Thunderhill!

Please check you have version 0.1.78 or newer of Custom Shaders Patch as this is the minimum supported now.


**UPDATE**
Sorry if you have already downloaded this version, but I was notified by somebody of an issue with the terrain, this is now resolved. Also there is now a skin you can activate to bring back the green grassy fields, if you prefer that look!

This release concentrates a lot on fixing issues everyone has pointed out – so thanks so much for all of your feedback, it really does make the projects so much better for everyone.

So, on to the list of changes.

· Fixed the large bump on the exit of T2 west, just after where the track join is.

· Fixed the cones being in the wrong place on 3 mile reverse bypass

· All of the old style kerbs that caused problems with Direct Drive wheels have been replaced by my new models. This was quite a task, but you should notice a difference!

· Fixed the run-off areas of T7W being too bumpy

· Fixed the issue where AI cars can’t leave the pits on two mile west

· Update grassFX so there’s less ‘consistant’ coverage, leading to a patchier look.

· Added some trackside details in the form of animated tall bendy flags.

· Increased asphalt brightness, as I felt the last update left everything a little bit too dark – open to feedback on this though!

· Removed some of the old skidmark models, and replaced with more optimised solution.

· 3D trees along the East Pitlane – these are somewhat experimental, so if they’re flickery, pop-in or anything like that, please let me know and I can adjust them.

· 2D spectators / crowds in the pitlanes. Adds a bit to immersion.

· The trackside lighting at night has been re-done (again) using an even more optimised solution now – better framerates for everyone 😊

· New fences / wall textures in prominent places. They are of a much higher detail now.

· Another fun but somewhat experimental feature, the flag being waved from the control tower of the east course should now change colour depending on if you’re being flagged, for example blue flags to let faster cars through.

· Probably some other stuff, that I forgot to write down.

Newest onboard (5 march 2023). As you can see it depends on season but Thunderhill can be lushy green

You know my opinion Tyrone. Still keeping 10th version for best google sat and blending. Trees should be deciduous not conifers. I didn`t like previous ones as you have tracks with much better ones (like Mallory) but 3d ones are not in line with real life. I`m also not a fan of tar patches. They are distracting and real track asphalt color is quite uniform in many onboards i`ve seen. Sorry for that but I`ve spent hundreds of hours on this gem of yours and remember details.

Same here. It worked twice (loved it). Now gives "unexpected error" pop-up. Reloaded V11 and it works fine.

it wont load for me, crashes just says race cancelled before it starts... have tried reinstalling the track and restarting several times
