Rowan and Lucien doodles

Lucien moves into a scary mansion in the middle of the woods, tired of the world and wanting to be a broody lonesome vampire (as one does).
[I also have this whole plot idea of a 'We'll find your soulmate for you' service offered by some witches that Lucien might have applied to...anyway]
One day a werewolf greets him as a new neighbor. I have this whole rain scene in my head but drawing it out made me realize it seems like a cheap p*rn plot...
Rowan does all kinds of jobs for supernatural beings and Lucien suspects him of being a spy at first...
So that was kind of my premise...

The neighbour idea is really cute!!! For an extra isolation factor, maybe they could live on an island where many different supernatural creatures move to, but Lucien doesn't know that, so he just thinks Rowan is some overly friendly (and HOT) local dude?

2021-04-17 19:42:35 +0000 UTCI’m definitely a fan of cheap plots, especially for characters I’m interested in. The premise is only a spark, it’s how it’s handled that matters. Also, for some reason I see drenching wet werewolf and all I can think is “god I hope he doesn’t smell like wet dog.” Then again, he might need someone to help him dry off... 😁

Execution, like how you draw it and write the characters, pulls a lot of weight. Anyway, these two are great! I know if you ever have the time/energy to expand upon their story, I'd read it! 💖 No pressure, though. I know you're super busy.

I am thinking of having Rowan be a kind of jack of all trades for supernatural beings and Lucien then keeps hiring him for little nothings. Though I also need conflict so I'm thinking something like Lucien suspecting Rowan to be a spy for the werewolves/witches...

2021-04-17 18:53:37 +0000 UTCSometimes the cheap porn plot is all it takes to spark a new story. I like the idea of witchy matchmaker site/app (I’m assuming). I’m not sure if you already have an idea on how they’d meet but maybe Lucien gets tired of all failed dates from the app and decides to like hire a gardener/groundskeeper to help with stuff around the house. (Also an excuse to have a visitor everyday or something). Just throwing ideas out there.
