(!) What Comes Next (!)

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for playing our game!

Over the last few days I've received tons of messages about everything that people like and dislike about the game. And, as I suspected, all the problems came down to the game being fully voice-acted. It seriously affected the length, the text not being able to be changed after the lines were integrated, development delays etc.

So I've decided that, in order to seriously improve the quality of whatever the next project is, I would have to tone down the amount of voice acting. This way, the next project is going to be way longer and better quality overall! (We will obviously keep all the "muffled talk" and very important moments voice acted.)

Now to the good stuff. What are we doing next? Well, I think I'm going to let all of you decide! You guys are the only reason we managed to get here in the first place, so I want to deliver what you want to see. GIVE ME COMMENTS! DMS! ANYTHING! Make sure I know what type of project you want to see next!

It could be in the same universe as the first game or something completely different. It could be a visual novel, a comic, an RPG, a first person shooter (joking.....probably), anything! After I get a big sample of ideas, I will create some polls and we will find out "what comes next"!

Can't thank you enough for all the love and support! I'm super excited to see what you guys come up with. And I promise, whatever it is, if I can, I WILL DELIVER! ^^

Is there another arc like demo?

Hey Andrew! The answer to all your questions is voice work! It's the most costly, the longest wait, the most difficult to handle and every other problem you can think of. And I did understand your review, truly! But what I've recieved from a lot of people is that they mostly skipped the regular dialogue after quickly reading it and they never heard the voice lines in the first place. So I really can't justify making another fully voice acted project when 1. It creates major problems + 2. Most people don't care about it that much

I'm not sure that you understand my review of your game. But "fully voice-acted" is what made your game stand out. In fact, being fully voice-acted is what makes your game high quality, while other games that are "fully voice-acted" are only voice acted here and there. If it was not for the fact that everyone, did it, I would say that other games were taking part in false advertising, when they say that they were fully voice acted. Right now, I do not think that it is a good ideal to reduce the quality of your game, just to make it longer. The demo was fully voice-acted, and we had no problem with it. The problem for me is that the game was as long as the demo. A game demo is a trial version of a video game that is limited to a certain time period or a point in progress. So, when I played it, I was thinking that it was only one chapter out of a longer game, and that it would be part of it when I played. Before we do this poll, I think that we need more information on the development of this game. First, how long did have you been working on this project? Second what take you the most time in making the game? Was it waiting for the art or was it working with the VA or something else. Third, what cost you the most? Art or VA? You don't have to give us number just tell us this or that.
