If you were around in the 90's, Cartoon Network used to run the "What a Cartoon! show", an anthology series filled with animated shorts. Many of which eventually became hits of their own: The Powerpuff girls, Courage the cowardly dog, Johnny Bravo, to name a few. Some other shorts, just stayed like that, a short.

Here we have O. Ratz and Dave D. Fly from the short "Rat in a hot tin can". The premise of the short is that O. Ratz is trying to stay warm, after being kicked out of a restaurant he had been living in. With each hair brained scheme failing one after the other. So, applying our own line of thought, O. Ratz eventually realised that some animals grow fat to stay warm over the winter. I think he may have overdone it, just a tiny bit.
