Statues Devlog 1

Before we begin I'd like to extend my thanks to everyone that took a liking to my little weird idea. I wasn't expecting this much support. I figured that I was making a hyper niche game that only a few people would enjoy. So thanks for joining the ride.

As for the gifs, 1st one is the 2 frame currently in-game, 2nd one is 8 frames, 3rd one is 16 frames. Some scenes will be easier to make more frames for but 16 feels like the ideal amount, at least 8. 

These are a rough estimate of how I want the final product scenes to look like. I still have to test this in RPGmaker to make sure it looks right in-game. 

But this is what I'll be doing this next few weeks most likely. I'll also start figuring out all the things that steam needs to get a store page. 

Yesterday I started messing around with getting statues to run in a browser, to launch the game on Newgrounds, sadly that ended in a bust. I'll keep working on it over the week, I'd like to at least release a short demo version.

Tiny micro update. I managed to get the browser version to run, it's a bare bones version with less plugins but it works. For a short demo version it's more than enough. I'm still debating if I want to release it as is or develop the game some more and then do another soft release before steam. I'll think about it throughout the week. And the 16frames animation works fine in RPGMaker.
