I hope he starts up Millennium alongside season 4 of X-files. This way when the crossover episode happens in season 7 it is perfectly timed.

There's a tendency to think of 90s TV as being somewhat tame because you didn't really have the more graphic sex/nudity/violence that became prevalent in shows like GoT/Spartacus/Breaking Bad/Expanse. In some ways though 90s TV was way more intense in terms of how writers would delve into darker subject matter. Also fans of Firefly(and some other shows😉) will recognize Jewel Staite in some of her earliest work.
