2021-09-15 17:29:13 +0000 UTC"Willow's a demon?!?!" ROFL, I love Anya. Also after the forehead tattoo guys, when Quentin says Glory is a god, you can just hear Teal'c saying "false god!!". We've gone from really old, wrinkly vampire boss to Angelus with the portal to hell to the evil mayor turning into a giant snake to a govt funded demon Frankenstein to some kind of deity. They certainly know how to up the stakes(heh, stakes). Except S4 anyway, Adam was a step down from the mayor. Do love seeing Giles reinstated, and that is going to be a hell of a lot of back pay(the IRS is just gonna love him that year). Feels like a bit of a reset for the show returning Giles to an official place as Buffy's watcher. Kinda mirrors the reset on SG1 with Daniel's return just recently.

It does feel very Stargate 'like with the Brotherhood of the Byzantium (Knights of Byzantium) with the mark on the forehead, and now learning that Glory is a God. That's straight-up Stargate lol. However, it does seem that this Brotherhood is against Glory, it seems they are also after the Key, but also no friend of Glory, they call her the Beast. I also wonder what Ben's connection is, he seems to be just thrown in here, how does he know Glory? An interesting question to be asked. I love the idea that the Watchers came here cause they need Buffy back, not cause Buffy needs them, I love how they turned that around and Buffy set em straight, they need her, and they will work for HER, not the other way around. That's how it should be IMO, the Council should work for the Slayer, so I'm glad we finally got that on track and Buffy set them straight. That moment was so epic. It also appears that Glory did not detect that Dawn was the Key. She was right there looking at her, and she didn't know she was the Key. That's interesting to note. I wonder if she touched her if she'd know? But at least by sight, she has no idea. I absolutely adore Buffy's fit in this episode. The black coat and cross outfit she was wearing was really hot. It's a really great look for her. She's a stunning woman. Yeah, this was a nice episode that ties in the main plot in a big way. Now we know what we are dealing with. Also, I think the use of Spike to watch them was just temporary, while she went to go meet the Watchers, I don't think it's permanant. She just knew right there at that moment they were in danger. Also, don't be too shocked at what Spike said about Buffy, he is a Vampire without a Soul remember, he's gonna be, well, soulless. As much as he'll try to understand, he can't quite grasp being human.
