2021-05-18 10:53:24 +0000 UTCPretty much despise this one. One of my least favorites. If I had to decide which is worse in season two, "3" or "Firewalker", I'd have to really think about what to say. Just a very poor version of "Ice" from season one. It just doesn't grab me. Everything about it is mediocre except for some special effects.

These types of episodes helped build early X-Files mystery and fandom. The fact that it deals with off-the-wall things, it was a new genre back then. Did I find it interesting? No, but back then this whole genre was new.

BUT, before I watched the episode, I saw your emoji and for some reason thought it was a Santa hat, lol. So I went into this like "Wait, is this a Christmas episode or something I forgot about?"
