I think Jack meant that there's a home for Marty back on earth and he's welcome there, at least that's how I read it.

That last shot always makes me feel bad for him. O'Neill has a home to go back to, Marty's is in ruins, and it's not like he has much waiting for him on Earth. Feel sorry for the man.

Yes, S4 is definitely where Daniel really started to transform from the reserved, somewhat shy boyscout of an anthropologist he started as into a snarky smartass. It's almost like he's Jack's little brother. This was a slower one, and felt very X-Files. It's pretty fun though, and Teal'c especially stood out with the whole "Murray" thing(love that huge grin when the bed starts shaking). I don't get why he went to hid his jaffa tattoo from the airman after showing Marty though. Presumably they brought in SGC personnel. Also the guy who played Marty was in Buffy a while back as the guard Cordelia was trying to distract, the one Xander called "captain Rogaine". Lastly, that final line from Jack always gets me. Seemed a tad insensitive. It's all well and good to say "we go home", but that IS Marty's home, and there's nothing left of it. Poor guy.

Not sure how many times I have rewatched the whole show. Probably in the region of 6-10 times. I've Probably rewatched the earlier seasons more as I would have usually rewatched all the previous episodes ready for when a new season came out. That obviously got to be a larger effort each time. But hey, it's what I do! 😁

First watch heh. More remembered some than appreciated more. I'm more of a fan of the later seasons and the spinoffs tbh.. Season 5+ is more my meat and veg, where it starts really hitting stride.. But I totally appreciate the earlier stuff.
