I second including Fringe... funnier and smarter X-files, and easier to get into. I do believe X-files and Stargate have the highest number of crossover actors.

2020-09-03 07:01:46 +0000 UTCThat's not a bad idea. The first season especially is pretty slow to get started. But man, that brings back memories. They used to have the lore episodes on VHS and as a kid I used to rent them because I was too scared to watch the rest of the show.

I'm a huge fan of both so it's really, really hard because I'd love you to see both. But there are pros and cons to each that I won't go into here. but I might finally have to join the discord in the next few days and talk it through, provided there's a like.. general purpose spoiler-y area?

2020-08-31 20:23:33 +0000 UTCX-Files is one of my favourite shows of all time! It's structured like Stargate. Some episodes are "mythological" and push the main story forward, some (I guess most of them) are just standalone episodes. When I rewatch it I usually watch just mythological episodes + my favourite standalone episodes. Could be a way for you, if you don't want to watch all of it.
