Absolutely love this episode, favourite of the whole series.

2020-09-02 20:14:43 +0000 UTCNo one not even me ever came to conclusion in saying Angel framed or tried to frame Giles, it's clear he did it because he likes to torture their feelings deep deep.

Angelus is a sick and twisted individual and it was great to be reminded of that in this episode. we can also see it in the way he watches Buffy receive the phone call from Giles about what happened to Miss Calendar and how he relishes in their anguish.

2020-07-07 04:28:21 +0000 UTCTop tier episode. I was also floored by the way they killed off Jenny (great shot though). Angel was able to set up the body in Giles apartment because he had been invited earlier in the season. They hadn't warded his house yet; he was at Buffy's to borrow the book for the ritual. I also liked a lot of the stylistic choices this episode. Like you said, having it framed largely from Angel's and the vampire's perspective near the beginning lets you get more into his head and see how messed up he is. Like in the earlier episodes, you know he's bad and he kills plenty of people, but he's also kinda goofy sometimes. This ep lets you see the actual menace underneath what seems kind of like a cartoon villain. Great reaction :)

2020-07-05 04:09:20 +0000 UTCAnything can happen now? Yes. One of the best episodes of Buffy. Still makes me tear up. I was cringing waiting for you to see Jenny die and your reaction did not disappoint.

2020-07-05 01:25:20 +0000 UTCOne of the best episodes of Buffy, still gives me the chills and all the emotions!

2020-07-05 01:11:32 +0000 UTCToday is my birthday and I want to thank you for this great bday gift hehe. I can’t wait to watch it. Might edit my comment after viewing your reaction ;). Edit: loved your reaction. The last two episodes were fun but this one is well executed and hits hard indeed. Glad you liked it! Angelus is such an evil character, he could have drained her blood, he could have turned her into a vampire, but snapping her neck and setting up the body in Giles appartement really shows the actual mania of seeing people suffering that Angelus has
