Yes Firefly was one of the many unjustly canceled Joss Whedon shows. I don't know why he would keep offering shows up to fox just to have them get cut short. Thankfully its one of the rare cases where we at least managed to some sort of conclusion via the Serenity movie but I would have love to have seen where the show would have gone if it had even just 2 full seasons. At least The Expanse was saved but look how much more content we got since it was a sci-fi show on syfy vs a sci-fi show airing on fox.
