That's actually so true lol, I never even considered that. Piccolo only resorted to running around and charging his beam cause he was respecting Frost's power and keeping his distance to avoid whatever knocked Goku out. If he just went in he prob would have clapped his cheeks, Piccolo is no push over even if he's no Goku.

People are pondering that? It's It was actually more than implied, it was directly stated during the Frieza fight by Goku that Vegeta unlocked SSJ Blue himself without the god ritual. Goku gave Vegeta the compliment that unlike himself he unlocked it all on his own. As for how he unlocked it, probably the same way he unlocked SSJ 1 in DBZ. Training hard as hell. The ritual was just the shortcut to godhood by borrowing the energy of other Saiyans to fuel the transformation, so it makes sense that if a Saiyan continued to grow in power and Ki they would be able to unlock it with no ritual. It's also on brand for Vegeta. Goku unlocked SSJ 1 in DBZ through his natural talent combined with emotional turmoil of Krillin's death. Vegeta had to work much harder through intensive training to achieve SSJ 1, likely due to being self admittedly less naturally talented than Goku. Vegeta also didn't have a trigger like Goku losing Krillin to incite rage for the transformation which didn't help. It's a not so subtle parallel with him not using the convenient ritual shortcut for SSJ god.

I get why it would surprise you a little bit, but I think you just overestimated Frost and underestimated how OP Goku and Vegeta have gotten. Goku and Vegeta are on a similar level at this point and have unlocked SSJ God and SSJ Blue which are diety level transformations that start to be comparable to the power a God of Destruction has. They also retain some of that godly power in their normal SSJ forms too as a result of that as Beerus explained in the movie. Frost was losing horribly to SSJ 1 Goku, he couldn't even get a hit in. He only won because he poisoned Goku while Goku was basically just sparring with him for fun cause he thought Frost was a cool guy. It's to be expected that Vegeta can one shot Frost so easily, it would be bizarre if he didn't. Essentialy, Frost is weak as hell compared to Goku and Vegeta and just uses underhanded methods to win like a coward.

In regards to Vegeta rolling Frost. It's meant to display the disparaty in fighting style between Goku and Vegeta. Vegeta gives as much of himself from the get-go and is constantly trying to push himself beyond his limits. Goku on the otherhand is a slow starter who tests his opponents until he needs to push it to the next level. All this to say, Vegeta is pure Saiyan, always trying to better himself so when he realizes he won't get better through a weak opponent, he decimates them. Goku on the otherhand is pure Saiyan but he was trained as a human. So he doesn't take fighting as a means to be a stronger warrior, he takes it as a means to become a better and more rounded fighter. Numerically, Goku goes for addition and dabbles in the decimals while only multiplying when he absolutely needs to. Vegeta is always trying to multiply and doesn't worry about the minute details but is learning to hold back and take things a bit slower. If you see any inconsistencies in this it's because they've both learned from each other. More specifically, Vegeta has internalized the more human elements of Goku, while Goku learned to tap into his Saiyan side through Vegeta's examples and existence throughout Z. Goku's personality is much more in line with how he was in OG Dragon Ball throughout Super. Almost as if throughout Z he was lost in the Saiyan side of himself to a certain extent. Zs ending after the Kid Buu fight softened them both up and they're now much more rounded individuals, learning to me more like the other while still holding firm to who they innately are

I can't remember if this was shown in the series or movie or both but Goku and Vegeta both unlocked SSBlue inside Whis's Hyperbolic Time Chamber Space right before confronting Frieza. It wasn't shown that Vegeta did the ritual to get SSGod so what's implied is that Vegeta unlocked God Ki through his training with Whis. Potentially that he always had the capability within himself while Goku needed a technique to do so. It's something we're all still pondering on even for those of us completely caught up on the manga

Just one fan to another. I appreciate you writing this out homie. I think your desire to fund any patreon in the first place is an admirable thing so I hope you can find another creator(s) that more aligns with your style

I definitely recommend turning on subtitles for next episode for no reason other than seeing the nonsense Magetta says

Gogo didn’t work for me. But having to pay $3 then another $10 to fun or whoever. Watch two separate screens. That’s insane. And so much extra work. Love ya jack. But this ain’t it. I’m out. I’ll stick to YouTube bro. $13 and even if not just too many hoops to jump through. Sorry dude

MTried. Didn’t work. Also the links he suggest. Want $10 a month. So I gotta pay him 3 10 to another company. Then try to match up with everything perfectly? That’s not worth it when his YouTube videos might be cut and behind. But damn that’s a headache. Never seen another Pateron account do it like this. Sorry. Bit more for me. I’m out. I’ll see talk mmm

this is his job. if he showed the actual episode then 1 report could take his whole patreon down. the other people doing it the uncut way will get banned eventually. just use gogoanime and most phones support picture in picture

I’ve been subscribed to Baris watching Z and it’s been great but this is kinda too much. I’d rather just wait for your YouTube videos instead. I payed to get less. No disrespect. But not pleased about that. And if there’s a reason that it is that way then I understand. But not for me like this.

What. I just subscribed to watch uncut and I have to watch along on another website or see 1/4 screen. Why. Super disappointed. Sorry but I can’t pay to watch someone and then have to watch on another device.

In fairness the frost dub voice actor does say it really quietly as I'm sure he was trying to show frost is scared maybe jack just missed it.

The fighter who folded Frost is named Hit. Idk if you heard but when he was revealed to Frost, he responds with “Hit, The Legendary Assassin.” So yeah just to clarify that point in case you thought his name wasn’t given yet.

the anime did a better job of explaining how Vegeta got divine energy/Super Saiyan God, basically, right after Battle of Gods around DBS episode 16, Vegeta managed to convince Whis to train him, and he left with Whis to go train on Beerus' world, and for 6 months Vegeta trained with Whis alone, and in that time Vegeta managed to cultivate his own divine energy, and after those 6 months, Whis went to go collect Goku from Earth to join Vegeta on Beerus' planet, and then then they spent an extra 4 months to grasp Super Saiyan God before Resurrection F,,,,,,, so unlike Goku, Vegeta did not receive divine energy through the traditional Saiyan ritual, he did it on his own, even Goku mentioned this during Resurrection F that Vegeta learned how to get Divine energy/Super Saiyan God all on his own

So the thing about frost is that he is actually not that strong at all, the only reason goku told picollo that frost was strong was because at that point they thought Frost had just beaten goku fairly, you could argue that if picollo fought normally without thinking he didn't have a chance he could probably have beaten frost no problem, never mind ssj vegeta.
Matthew Cunningham
2023-02-11 17:31:26 +0000 UTC
unlike Goku, Vegeta does not like wasting time, so if he is already stronger than his opponent and pissed off, he will go for the kill without hesitation

Magetta is hard to understand in the dub, but he's basically speaking in onomatopeia, saying things like "Clang clang" or "Chuga chuga." Also, fun fact: Magetta's dub voice is uncredited, and it's assumed that they literally used a text-to-speech program for his voice.
