I loved this arc, but I hated how they messed up the timeline.

Its a timed reaction. You have your own screen with the episode up and then you sync up with his audio. Then you see the whole episode without cuts and you get his reactions the whole time.

Come on at least you can make the picture bigger and a little sound wouldn't hurt

I think people who were originally fans of Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden, we all had assumptions in our head of what kind of Dad Naruto would actually be. And we all figured he'd be the best, most active, most fun Dad ever because he didn't have parents so we almost thought he'd go above and beyond to be around for his kids but it wasn't until Boruto actually came around that we realized "oh yeah... he doesn't know how to be a Dad. To him, a Dad that's alive and around is better than no Dad at all". Boruto experienced like at least 6 years of having an active father who spent time with him and had fun with him before it was all snatched when he became Hokage. Borutos just missed having a Dad around. And its completely understandable. People who continue to judge Boruto for that don't take any time to think about his situation. Obviously he's more blessed than Naruto was but problems amongst people aren't stacked against eachother to compare. We all struggle and suffer and im glad Boruto gets to see their differences in childhood. It doesn't make his own feelings invalid but it does give him some context to why Naruto doesn't think about their relationship like Boruto does. Sorry for the long rant lol

That was a great moment Boruto got to have, I don't blame you it was emotional.

Imagine Boruto goes back to the present and Hinata is just like "Oh yeah, your Dad named you after this weirdo kid he met in the past. Kinda random"

Eve Edena

the final scene got me because Naruto asked Boruto what his family was like because Naruto never had any 😢
