2026-02-26 09:20:57 +0000 UTCThis is just my theory (I haven't read the LN), but I'm assuming that the people that run the games want to purge a bunch of the veterans that have survived for so long since having veterans of the games have shown to calm down the new players in other games, which may make games less interesting. Plus the idea of a bunch of newbies killing the vets would be far more entertaining to the audience (assuming that the idea of an audience existing is true).
