There's some interesting dialogue stuff I'm surprised you didn't comment on. Don't worry, I'm anime only too so I'm just speculating like you. Al made references to dying "being painful, especially the first time" and other references to death. I find that suspicious. Two, lye mentioned after eating that one guy's memories and talking to his friend that he couldn't protect protect "millian or maillie". Apparently, that maillie is maylie from s2. The mabeast controlling sister of Elsa. Maylie was actually the changed name, this episode used her original name. I read this on x. Also, the cuts on lye's back are disgusting. With what Roy said about being ignored by his family, it continues to paint a picture of witch's cult members living awful lives beforehand.
