Girls und Panzer Das Finale 1 REACTION

This was one of the funniest movies I've seen, such a great ride! The animation also went super hard for no reason, let's see where this goes in the future movies.

Girls und Panzer Das Finale 1 REACTION

Comments

The new opening is really powerful, I had the luck that Sayaka Sasaki visited my country and sang this song at the end of her show. Was amazing Like most places in the show, are real places in Oarai City, the pirate bar is a recreation of a local bar in Oarai, thats is also a karaoke bar, the postitions of the charis, the tables are the same. And yes, the animation is in a new level, high budget, long time to produce

Girls und Panzer das Finale - Part 1 of 6. No matter what the big glorious reason for wanting to win the next tournament is... we're in for more Senshado matches against seemingly both new foes and old friends! This here was really fun despite only the last part of the movie actually focusing on the Senshado match itself. Especially all of the scenes with the Shark Team were really funny. - 8:32: You're surprised about the World Tournament? That was mentioned in der Film already too in regards to still being two in-universe years until then. - 14:45: The bartender somehow reminds me of Mami from Madoka Magica. In fact... the entire lighting in this bar reminds me of Madoka Magica now that I think about it. - 15:15: Mako actually being the most active in acting in most darkest of places and when Sodoko is in danger... is certainly something I didn't think of. - 18:22: Now this scene is at least ten times more funnier for me than it already was knowing your reaction. VAs for the new Shark Team of the Oarai Girls High School Senshado team: - "Tornado" Ogin (the leader and commander with the black hair and one eye covered) is voiced by *佐倉綾音 (Ayane Sakura)*. I don't think I need to say about that. - "Sargasso" Murakami (starboard gunner and loader and the one facing Miho in physical combat) is voiced by 大地葉 (You Taichi). Same as the vice commander Pepperoni of Anzio. - "Explosive Cyclone" Rum (primary driver - the brunette curly hair and always carrying a bottle... and she did the flag deciphering with Saori) is voiced by 高森奈津美 (Natsumi Takamori). She also voices Rosehip, the pinkish red haired girl from St. Gloriana introduced in der Film. - "Great Waves" Flint (secondary driver and radio operator - long silver hair and her challenge was for Yukari to untie the knot) is voiced by 米澤円 (Madoka Yonezawa). She also voices one of the Chihatan Academy students in Tamaki Tamada (long black hair in a braid and reddish-brown eyes). - "Fresh Whitebait Rice Bowl" Cutlass (port gunner and loader - she is the short blonde hair and golden eye "bartender" and had Mako into a thumb wrestling match) is voiced by 七瀬亜深 (Ami Nanase). She also voices one of the Chihatan Academy students in Shizuko Hosomi (dark hair and bright green eyes). - 24:22: "Last summer." - Barley any time passed since the events of the TV series and der Film (which was of course basically directly after the TV series). - If you didn't notice, Azumi (one of the three vice commanders for the University Select Team from der Film) did mention that she was a student at the BC Freedom High School before graduating and heading to university. VAs for the commanding spots of the BC Freedom High School Senshado Team: - 51:34: Marie, the commander who ever so often eats cake, is voiced by 原由実 (Yumi Hara). You can recognize her as special convoy, Aylin, from The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 as well as one of the main characters of Idolmaster in Takane Shijou. - Rena Andou (black hair and a bit darker skin color), the leader of the transfer students faction and vice-commander, is voiced by 津田美波 (Minami Tsuda). You could very well recognize her as *Nemo Anemo / Leberblume* from Gushing Over Magical Girls as well as Momiji Hozuki / Momijirou from Onimai. - Ruka Oshida (blonde hair), the leader of the escalators faction and also vice-commander, is voiced by 安済知佳 (Chika Anzai). You can very well recognize her as (examples) Chisato from Lycoris Recoil, Shizuru Chikura (main character) from Train to the End of the World, Yumeko Shikiya (the always pretty dead feeling secretary of the student council) in Makeine, Mion Hayakawa (Kano's older sister) in Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night and main character Reina Kousaka in Sound! Euphonium. - 53:46: The Winter Continuous Track Cup we're seeing here is separate from the World Cup, but at the same time, it is meant to promote senshado as a whole before the World Cup in the near future. - 54:54: Keep Kelven's comment in mind about starting the das Finale OVAs only after das Finale Part 2 and therefore making das Finale Part 2 the next thing to watch.

I decided to make this it's own comment instead of adding it to my other one since it *will* be important later on: As I've mentioned before, the first das Finale OVA (Taiyaki War) was bundled with the das Finale 02, so it technically should be watched after das Finale 02, not before like you're planning. The same goes with the second das Finale OVA (Daikon War). It was bundled with das Finale 03, therefore should technically be watched *after* das Finale 03, not before. HOWEVER, it is STILL FINE to watch them like you are planning, as both those OVAs do NOT contain spoilers for those das Finale episodes. ***THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART: The third das Finale OVA (Commander War) ***DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR DAS FINALE 04***, so you shouldn't watch it before das Finale 04. It is best to watch it after. Just keep this in mind.

Finally, onto das Finale (no pun intended, really) New Team: Shark Team - Operating a British Mark IV, which is the most produced British tank in WW1. BC Freedom: As you correctly guessed, they represent France (specifically, from the French Revolution period). Their tanks consist of mainly ARL 44's (post-WW2) and SOMUA S35's (WW2), with Marie herself driving an FT-17 (WW1) Their commander, Marie, is also a reference to, obviously, Marie Antoinette (hence her always eating cake, LOL). Their theme music (which we hear at 48:09 in the Patreon video) is Le Chant de l'Oignon (The Song of the Onion), an anonymous French military song of the Revolution and the First Empire. It was one of the favorite tunes of the grenadiers of the Imperial Guard. LYRICS (translated): I like the onion fried in oil, I like the onion when it is good, I like the onion fried in oil, I love the onion, I love the onion. At walk comrades, at walk comrades, At walk, at walk, at walk. At walk comrades, at walk comrades, At walk, at walk, at walk. One onion fried in oil, One onion changes us into a lion, One onion fried in oil, One single onion, one single onion. At walk comrades, at walk comrades, At walk, at walk, at walk. At walk comrades, at walk comrades, At walk, at walk, at walk.

Grand Symphony is such a banger. Probably my favorite semi-recent OP.
