Owarimonogatari is where the series really establishes itself in the anime pantheon for me, and it's because of what you talked about here. Oikura doesn't need Araragi to help her, in a lot of ways, he's the LAST person who can help her. That change from the rest of the girls in the series, putting the pressure on Araragi to just swallow his mistakes and realize that sometimes offering your help is just an insult is really important. That, and the line about happiness not being something you have to earn, but just something that everyone deserves if they want it is very powerful. Life saving words, even if Oikura has a lot of work to do on her own.
