With that reminder taken care of, since I didn't get to share any samples before, I thought I'd show off the MC. Not to mention a little note that you'll get pretty much right at the start of the game. Given that it's one of the first things you'll see, it's not much of a spoiler, while giving you all a glimpse into the basic premise. Note that you shouldn't take the name Lyra as a given. It's one of several I'm still debating between. The letter is still just a rough draft...as are the renders, technically. Though I'm honestly happy enough with how they are turning out that I'm unsure I'll process them too much farther. I'll probably take a swing or two at doing so, just to see how it comes out. But I'm pleased enough with the difference in style so far that I might choose to use them as is. We'll see what looks better. Possibly even run a short poll if I get more than one thing that looks good.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share a quick glimpse. As of now I've got most of the assets I need and I've gotten one NPC's worth of interactions rendered. I'm working on a second now and hope to finish with it tonight as well. So far, so good, really. I've even managed to do a bit of brainstorming for the non-poll short story this month. I want to do something Holiday themed...and speaking of that I need to get the Wallpapers underway. Which I also usually do a Holiday theme for. I only just realized as I was typing that during all my planning for the escape game they sort of slipped my mine. Oh well, they are rarely too time intensive.
