August Story Reward Follow-Up Poll

Nope! I didn't forget about this! I just didn't want this to get buried under the various release posts this month, which tends to happen to polls. Anyway, as all of you may-or-may-not remember, The Elven Maid always has a follow-up poll when it wins (And obviously, it won this month). This follow-up poll is to give you, the $5+ patrons, a say in how the story develops! So first, here's a reminder of where The Elven Maid left off:

The Elven Maid(Novel):  Last time, Galyn finally claimed Elora as his! In addition to claiming her, he presented her with final piece of her uniform...in the form of a magical custom chastity-belt. Only, Galyn, Alex, and Riveria can now provide her with relief. Meanwhile, the Bathhouse has finally opened, seeing money pour in and putting Galyn firmly on the road to his success. But...what as the elven thief been up to during all this? And when with Alex and Riveria finally get in on the action?

Okay, this one is both a big one and a not-so-big one at the same time. What I have for you to choose from will MAJORLY effect the contents of this update...but will have only a minor long-term influence on the story. That's a bit unusual, as these polls normally result in completely divergent paths (In example: The choice for Alex and Rivera to be involved with Galyn/Elora or not). The cause of it being a little different this time is that, simply put, virtually everything that could possibly go in this update needs to eventually be in the story SOMEWHERE, as the contents are critical to the underlying plot. Thus, if you vote one way or another, it will change what happens in THIS update...but MOST of the content not seen in this update will eventually pop up somewhere.

Having said that, here are the options:

Focus this update on Riveria and Alex - This option will get both Alex and Riveria their first sex-scenes with Galyn, possibly including Elora in Alex's case. However, this will mean it's a sex-scene heavy update with only minimal content working up to and between those scenes. This is the more Sex Heavy option. 

Focus on the Plot - Yes! This novel has an actual plot, not just smut! Amazing, I know, I humbly accept your applause. Anyway, this option WILL still have sex scenes (duh, it's an erotic novel), but they'll probably only use up 1/3rd of the word count, with the rest pushing forward development of one of the novel's two main plot threads. Specifically, just what is going on with that elven thief that's been stalking around! This is the more Storytelling Heavy option. 

Try to Split the Different - The most likely result of me trying to mesh the previous two is that EITHER Alex or Riveria will get their scenes this update but not both. At the same time, we'll also see some plot development on the main plot threads. This is the balanced option, for those that want equal amounts of Storytelling and Sex. 

This isn't as radical as the usual choices simply because we're at one of the nexus points in the novel that I created to keep the whole thing together in something resembling cohesion, while still allowing patrons to radically alter the overall novel/character choices. Most of what is happening in the story at the moment needs to happen, in order to fulfill both the underlying main plot AND adhere to the voted choices of previous polls (the inclusion of Alex and Riv). As such, the best I can do is let you guys pick how much of what we get in this update :-). Sorry if that's disappointing :-(! 

P.S. Because I had to wait so late in the month to run this, the poll will only run until  11:59 pm on the 25th. That's a bit short...but I'll need time to actually do the writing!
