Okay, first off...I'm back! Technically, I was back home on Sunday night, but I was so wiped out that I didn't do much until Monday. On the plus side, I did get the three rooms I already had done tested and edited during downtime on my trip. On the downside, that's about all I got done and I'm still dealing with my sleep pattern being fucked all to hell and back. Regardless of that, though, I'm already making solid progress on the next room (Naruto Parody Room - Mental Path).

However, working on the room has brought up something that I've been struggling with for the last few updates. Namely...whether you lot prefer there to be puzzles in the rooms, or if you'd rather just see more (and more varied) content, without there being a puzzle to solve. Ignoring the most obvious examples of the Villages, a suitable example of what I mean would be the difference between The Milking Room (where you have to get the right mixture for ice cream) and the Pony Play room where there's no puzzle, just several things to explore.

I've been throwing a mix of the two types into updates, mostly restricted by what I can find to make a good narrative out of. However, I realized that this particular update is likely to have ALL explore-type rooms, no puzzles. That wasn't planned, but rather just the result of which rooms I ended up making and what art I can find for them. It did, however, bring the whole issue into focus for me. In fact, I'm a little annoyed with myself over it, and if I wasn't on such a time crunch this month, I'd probably try to rework it so there would be at least one puzzle room.

Long Story Short - I'd like to know which sort of rooms everyone really prefers. The Puzzle Rooms are more game-like but tend to be shorter (with some notable exceptions like the Drow Room) whereas the Non-Puzzle rooms tend to have a lot more content overall...but are a bit more passive/linear than then the Puzzle Rooms. Do you prefer Puzzle Rooms? Non-Puzzle Rooms? Or do you like both and don't really have a preference?
