October 22, 2022 - Update
Added 2022-10-22 06:47:29 +0000 UTCHi!
This week, three worries that I had while writing book six returned for book seven. Specifically, I feel like I’m spending too much time in my current location and that takes me to my second worry: pacing. This is easier to determine when the book is done.
Which triggers my third worry, my deadline. I only have just over two months to finish book seven. Despite all the worry, I’m still optimistic about hitting the deadline, and since the books have always turned out just fine, I’m going to trust book seven will be no different.
I want to get a change done to the paperback spine for The Grey Warden (want to add the publisher logo) before ordering copies for all the Divine Tier. So that remains delayed. Sorry.
I’m traveling for work next week. I’ve had two opposite experiences related to work travel and writing. The first time I wrote a ton and got ahead, but the second time, I got little done. I pray I have a productive week, as worry number three above will be in full effect.
The Grey Warden audio is still sitting in “Pending Audio Approval.” It has been that way for a week. Audible/ACX can be so frustrating sometimes. Hopefully that releases this coming week.
I’ve opened chapters 29 and 30 for Root.
I’ve opened chapters 31, 32, and 33 for Harvester.
I’ve added chapters 34, 35, and 36 to Step Master, Blapy’s Favorite, and Divine.
Enjoy!
I’m still appreciating the outflow of positive comments that have occurred these last couple of weeks. The reasons I appreciate you continue to grow. Thank you so much for being here.
Take care,
AFK

2022-11-11 13:55:20 +0000 UTCGreat points. My intention is for this book to be mainly about the Master's Trial.

2022-10-26 09:55:35 +0000 UTCPacing feels always tricky - they spent quite a few weeks apart from their girlfriends, so it feels like we missed a lot what happened to/with them. But you could always use the different time dilation similar to Blapy to help with that

2022-10-24 18:40:56 +0000 UTCGreat chapters this week! Pacing is hard to judge with weekly releases of chapters compared to reading the full book at once, but I haven’t felt anything was moving too slow or too fast so far. Really hard to say without knowing what else you need to squeeze into the book tho

2022-10-22 17:50:57 +0000 UTCThe pacing "feels" fine so far but I say that not knowing where you are going with this book. If this whole book is the masters trial and a conflict with the founders and echo in different wrap ups, it feels like you are on pace. If you are planning a change back to the black pyramid or grave, I feel like you've not paced for that unless it's so fast travel in the climax of something. Right now I feel like you are about mid to slightly passed mid (before reading chapters this week)
