The friendship is fine and I do like Rosa in the group setting but one on one with Scarlett the constant jokes from her do kind of get old. I hope that it doesn't turn towards romance though with the way women and especially lesbians are fetishized in the progression fantasy genre it almost makes me see romance happening from just a standard f/f friendship.

Rosa is not exactly hiding that the book Aurelian/The Other gave was one of Scarlett's possible futures, just like the book of the Hero's party he got for the princess, or the multiple endings of the videogame Amy played through. Except what Scarlett did with that knowledge was mix and match pieces of each ending to craft her own path, while Rosa only has the info on one ending which tends to lock into either following it or opposing it. The obvious solution, as far as I see it and in line with Scarlett's current character arc, is that they'll have to talk this through and share information to forge a new path. After all, they just killed Fate, it wouldn't be proper if they just followed the first prophecy they stumbled upon.

I hope the author doesn't follow the romance, because I find it very boring and Rosa with those unfunny jokes. I wish they had more screen time with the other characters on the team. Shin and Alicia are the most obscure; I wish they had a power increase.

She finds out yamina is working behind the scenes at odds with her and the other is still actively moving things in the background and her first response is to take for granted that whatever the book told rosa is the correct path?
