I feel like this is the place to say that Chris' entire rationale for hating Accidental Tourist is wrong? It seems like he puts a lot of weight on the movie being totally forgiving of this lyin', cheatin' hetero male but the whole point of the movie is that Kathleen Turner leaves him (the movie agrees that the Hurt figure sucks) and Geena brings him back to life. Tropey trope trope, sure, but the movie is not committing plot felonies here. Also the dude sucks because their 12 year old son died years ago, so there's that.
