There are just four places left in the Round of 16, and now two cartoon classics collide, as the #8 seed Toph goes toe-to-toe with the #25 seed Marie Kanker!
Last season was a dismal disappointment for Toph. With a top ranking, the earth-bender had high hopes for a solid run, only to crash out in the first round courtesy of Haru Okumura. As the first ever victim of an upset, Toph believes this season is all about redemption, and proving that a girl with exposed sensitive feet can still be championship material.
However, she faces maybe an even more dangerous opponent than last time, as Marie Kanker steps into the Tickle Zone for her tournament debut, and she has a bone to pick with Toph! Rumor has it that Toph might have stolen a certain technique that Marie originally perfected, and used it for some footsie fun with Katara. Maybe a case of copyright theft? But when you're a Kanker Sister, you don't call a lawyer -- you get even! For Marie, this one is personal.
