2024-10-23 03:42:41 +0000 UTCOkay this is partly correct it wasn't a fan theory, it was one of Toriyama's answers in a Q&A he did for Jump, in the same Q&A he mentioned that 19 was modeled after a doll that Gero took from an enemy base. A lot of random lore people talk about is from these Q&As.

Its probably my favorite scene in all of DBZA for that exact reason. 16 being modeled after Gero's son had been fan theory for so many years before TFS made that scene. Its another one of those reasons why DBZA is soooo good.
