Great Great Asset Chapter 25

Super mutant's from the Fallout universe were rather strong, durable, and didn't have much in the way of 'flight' in a normal being's fight or flight response. But, those attributes didn't amount for much when Akitsu could cut a whole tank in half with a ribbon of compressed water.

'I didn't think Supermutants would be around here. Is it just super mutants... Or could I possibly find New Vegas or something in this realm?' I mused to myself with some confusion.

As we were in a sort of desert badlands region in this realm. But I had a strong feeling that if New Vegas was here? It would also be a hellhole instead of a place to find refuge and shelter.

"Jak,e come sell the corpses! These supermutants are worth five points a piece!" Musubi said happily as she dragged four corpses behind her before tossing them into a pile before going to grab more.

I slowly nodded and as I approached the pile of corpses, my bracelet slipped off before expanding in mid-air to form the teleportation ring as Akitsu and Tsukuimi also helped moved the corpses into the pile.

After seeing a couple of dozen super mutant corpses that attacked us, I asked curiously. "Wait I remember you saying previously that these mutant monsters came from like bunkers right. Do you think they came from a nearby vault actually?" 

The Sekirei blinked at my question before shrugging with Akitsu saying calmly in her typical deadpan. "Probably, why? Do you want to check their vault for more primordial energy items?"

I nodded but then said a bit sheepishly. "That, and well, I know the universe these monsters come from. They have more powerful ranged weapons and it would be nice if I could get hold of them."

Sure, my AA12 and Vector were perfect for taking care of the more mundane issues and smaller monsters, even if they were more durable than usual. But large monsters and just generally more durable monsters?

It still took like five or six 12 guage slugs to make those damned super mutants even stagger, whereas even the those vampire girls had to avoid my gunfire lest they get injured even if they could quickly heal from it.

So if I could get my hands on some laser or plasma rifles? I would feel a lot safer. To say nothing of getting a hold of some stimpacks and such to heal myself if something happened.

The ladies shared a look before Tsukiumi shrugged and said. "Tis no concern of time spent. We aren't on a time crunch with how you three have already brought the group food. So we must only worry about our own supplies after all."

The other two being my Sekirei were even less likely to go against my perfectly reasonable request as the super mutants left a very visible trail back the way they came, as they had dragged a large sled that was filled with garbage, ammo and metal melee weapons with them.

So we got back into the electric cart and kept moving,g though we were paying more attention as we were rightfully worried about another super mutant shooting us as we approached their home.

Akitsu even put up a two-layer shell of ice around the cabin of the go-kart with Tsukiumi filling in the gap and using her water control abilties, held up the ice construct, which actually saved us some trouble as we were shot at by super mutants hiding in the nearby cliffs.

And those would be 'snipers' who were shooting at us with shitty home made rifles were soon bombarded by ice missiles that exploded sending both rock and hard ice sharpnel everwhere.

So although we couldn't get their corpses for more points with how they were buried, we soon found the target we were looking for. "This is odd." I mused as this wasn't a vault buried within a tiny cave or something.

It was a legit giant circular hollow that had been lined with concrete and even had a highway leading out of it and heading into the distance.

And the hollow was filled with ramshackle wood and aluminum structures to block off entry beyond a large main gate that was covered in spikes.

"Akitsu... Please tear down that wall." I said with Akitsu without another word, holding up a hand, to conjure up a car-sized giant ice spike which formed in the air before shooting off at high speed.

Crashing into the wall of debris and punching through it with a massive amount of force and momentum.

"Well, that has stirred up the hornets nest haha! So are we taking any of the mutants alive?" Musubi asked as she vibrated in place, and I realized this Musubi was a lot more bloodthirsty than the normal Sekirei version. But then again, this hellhole only allowed for final solutions.

So I just nodded and said quietly. "Yes Musubi, kill them all as they are just points in the end."

Musubi, being given the A-OK shattered the ground beneath her feet as she charged into battle with a howl of joy, leaving her. I even saw her literally slap a missile out of the air that was shot from one of the recovering super mutants as well as showing off her great reflexes.

"Akitsu, make sure to block off the entrance so we don't get attacked from behind!" I called as we all ran into the large hollow behind Musubi, who was happily punching the super mutants to death.

The fight into the vault was a quick but brutal affair as I got tagged by a couple rifle rounds. But, thankfully due to my aura I was fine. However, the sekirei with me didn't get tagged once as they bombarded the supermutants with the elements or were just punched to death.

"Whew! Now how do we get this big door open without Matsu here?" Musubi asked with a pout as she tilted her head at the massive vault door that was labeled with the number 19 on it.

My lips twitched as I honestly didn't expect the Supermutants to have closed the vault door so quickly. Still, I looked to Akitsu and Tsukiumi and said. "Tsukiumi, think you could wear down the concrete on the side of the door?" 

Because honestly, going through like three meters of concrete and rebar was a lot easier than trying to go through a meter of solid steel

Tsukiumi bit her lower lip and then said quietly. "I... We would be stuck here for at least a day getting through this. We are strong, but too big of an attack would just collapse everything around us."

But then Akitsu turned around from the wreckage of the front area and said quietly. "Nope, Jake. Kiss me so I can use my Norito."

And I saw Tsukiumi flush as Akitsu closed in, and I happily kissed Akitsu. Her Sekirei wings shot out from her back with her standing back as her form glowed with silver light and then she looked to Musubi and said. "I will freeze the concrete and such. You break it open with your own Norito."

Musubi blinked before grinning and saying happily. "Awesome idea Akitsu! Come here and give me a big kiss, my Ashikabi." Musubi almost demanded as she closed in for her own smooch.
