2023-08-26 14:45:20 +0000 UTCOne last thought on the dungeon, where is the infrastructure maintenance, the actual mechanics that power and run the dungeon? This would be some sort of power distribution room, the HVAC room, the water for the pool room, the piping, etc.. Usually in buildings there are corridors that normal people never see and never know they exist but are used by the people that maintain the building. These corridors carry the plumbing and electrical pipes and other monitoring equipment. There also has to be external vents and equipment for air. I used to work in building maintenance. It takes permanent personnel and a lot of money for upkeep; the buildings were always breaking down, it's just their nature. Also, you will have utility bills, i.e. water, electrical, etc.. I take it Patricia is handling all of that, or does she use a building maintenance company? If she does use a company then the dungeon would not be a secret but would be well known to the people who maintain it.

Quick question about the basement/dungeon: I've checked the story and I could not find anything about it's origin other than Patricia inherited it. So, either someone very very rich built it (it would have to have been in secret), or, the city built it for other purposes, ie. a jail, psychiatric hospital, etc., and, someone bought it and converted it. No one seems to know that the dungeon is there which makes me believe that the city built it and then abandoned it a long time ago. Any ideas or thoughts on this? Patricia inherited the dungeon. Could she have inherited it from her mistress? We know that Patricia was a sub at one time. Patricia also made a lot of money running the dungeon so that why she is really rich. Just a side note: the house is sitting on acres of land with the dungeon underneath it, but, there is nothing else protruding above ground except the entrance to the garage which we have not seen yet. We have only seen the room that they are in now on that level. Another question: is there an infirmary or a first aid room? It seems that a dungeon that size would have one in case someone got hurt. One last question: Is there a security office? I'm asking because I believe that there should be security cameras in every room of the dungeon, not for peeping Tom purposes, but to make sure that order is kept and no one, not even mistresses, get out of line. This line of thinking popped into my head when Patricia showed up so quick when Emma was trying to 'goad' Gabby into confessing so Emma could whip Gabby; it would have worked if Patricia did not show up. Was Patricia watching them or was it just fortunate luck that she showed up? Is Patricia's office the security office with the screens for the cameras?
