Smithy texted Gav to say he’d woken up next to Nessa again. So Satcey text Nessa to let her know. They probably did it again.
Once, my boyfriend had a colleague who came over from the states and he was keen to try curry. He loved them, but it transpired he was eating supermarket curry. You must get curry from a good Indian restaurant or takeout. Not all are created equal, some are quite oily. Hope you get your dream of travelling in Europe and perhaps the Uk someday.

I've always disliked this episode, just because of my intense dislike of cigarettes. I'm perhaps being overly puritanical but this show already has such excessive smoking (possibly even more than 'Mad Men') and now with the non-smoking characters joining in, it reinforces this idea of 'cigs = part of a fun night if you're not a square/spoilsport' which just rubs me the wrong way. But the Madness 'nutty boys' dancing is fun, I'll give them that.

I always had a Korma as a kid/early teen because I was worried about wasting food and my dads money on something I couldn't handle. But shopping on my own the last 8 or 9 years? Tikka, Butter chicken or a Balti ready meal is fine. Even maybe firecracker chicken breasts if I just squirt some mayo on it after cooking.

For your first curry KB, get a Butter Chicken or Korma And Chciken Tikka Masala. Nan Bread, poppadoms, ratia sauce and your Cushty. Steer Clear of the vindaloos to start 😀

probably some time off King Boomer, but with curry if you did get over here and tried it make sure you check the online reviews first because for every decent curry house there is a bad one especially if you ended up in Brick Lane London haha
But generally the most common curries, going from no real spice and creamy butter up to spicy, if you got a sample to try, where you can usually get Chicken, Lamb or Prawn (vegetable....);
Korma and Butter, Tikka Massala, Bhuna, Balti, Madras (starting to get hot) then Jalfrezi and Vindaloo. Don't go past that at the start lol
everyone will have their favourites but with sides, Saag Aloo is very nice, potatoes and creamed spinach, onion bhaji's and lamb meat or vegetable samosa's
Rice is hard to go wrong, but most people here probably get Pilau rice, which is slightly fragrant or mushroom, but there is standard plain boiled rice and as for Naan Breads, if you like coconut, Peshwari naan has coconut in it, Keema has lamb like kebab/ gyro meat, and the there is garlic and plain naan.
Yes I do love me food and I am a fat bastard! 🤣

Good reaction thank you. Don’t worry all menus will tell you how hot things are, if not just ask. Generally Indian food was never hot, just nicely spiced, mega hot dishes were invented for us lot so we could show off while sweating like a pig! Phals and vindaloo etc.. if you had a Balti or my favourite a bhuna etc it’s just nicely spiced..

I'm not a curry (or hot and spicy food) lover, in general. However, for something mild, you'd be fine with a chicken masala and some Onion bhajis and poppadoms. As far as spiciness goes, they're pretty tame.
Just make sure it's a reasonably good place. You can find some poor takeaways or restaurants, and that will taint your experience.

I know you get requests for reactions all the time (I'd love you to react to One Foot in the Grave, Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister and The Vicar of Dibley) but seeing Sheriden Smith as Smithy's sister I'd recommend Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps. She did a full run in that one, highly recommended 😊😊

Bhuna or a rogan josh probably in the middle
