What does SRS by Earl do that 17 by Jah doesn't?

The Needle Drop

shit, I must've missed a screenshot. I'm sorry; will fix that for the next episode! THANK YOU

The Needle Drop

yeah I couldn't tell if Anthony thought you meant the song or was just citing it as an example that could be applied to the whole album. at any rate, thanks for the good take

The Needle Drop

Ayyyy thanks melon! Can’t wait for the Africa Speaks review. It’s my favorite rock record of the year

Hey Austin! I've totally enjoyed your style and methods of call outs, call backs, and corrections. it's great, fun editing!

i don't think "over-hyped" means they view him negatively and that he needs more "respect" but that since he all over the place now, is that because he is one of the best producers? or just one that is most willing to work with a wide range of artists? I think it's the latter, like he's a better collaborator than producer.

The woodstock thing for anyone wondering were reported violence and sexual assault during the Limp Bizkit part. Not that I believe they didn't happen, I just find it odd that so much of traditional media was focus on blaming fred durst right as the big 5 music publisher were attacking napster (and fred durst supported it). I think it played a major role in painting him in a bad light in people's subconscious at the time.

Review the new drain gang ep

guy man

I might be blind but I can't find myself in the credits of this one

I'm surprised you didn't bring up Blackstar as an example where an artist's death recontextualized an album.

Thank you for including me in this episode, the only thing I want to point out is that I meant the whole album, but still, its true for its title track, too! I think the faster paced, rawer version of Don’t Let Me Down also fits perfectly in the album.
