Weekly update - September 22, 2025 - I'm tired boss...

Good Monday to You!

I don't have much to report this week unfortunately! Working on the variants has taken longer, as I had several people visiting last week, which took a bit of a toll on my productivity.

I don't know if any of you have this - but I find it almost impossible to concentrate on anything if I'm waiting to do something. The classic is: "I can't possibly do anything now I have a doctors appointment in six hours!"

I'm not sure why my brain does this, but it does! It was doing that a lot last week.

I don't imagine the ongoing everything that is happening has been helping. My friends and I did the usual visiting things, like going on the Ferris wheel and talking seriously about how we could help each other escape from several countries should various political projects continue in the direction they seem to be going!

You know, just trans girl stuff!

It continues to be fun times for those of us in the 'making nsfw content' community as well. For those of you who missed it, Bluesky has updated their guidelines with this:

People have brought up the obvious responses to this: How do you tell that a drawing is depicting consensual activity? Do we have to include images of each of the participating characters signing a consent form? How can this be enforced? Why is this so vague? Does this mean we're not allowed to post Game of Thrones?

But, like... I'm tired folks. We know this, they know this, they know that we know this. We have danced this dance before and we all know the steps. This kind of censorship never makes sense, is never clearly defined, is never applied fairly, and is intentionally vague so that it can be used to remove whoever they find inconvenient.

The most recent time we put on this music was a few weeks ago was when we got the updated guidelines from the payment processors that specifically banned 'cat or dog ears', which was even more silly. An adult entertainer wearing cat-ears, or doing bdsm and hypnokink, is not a threat to society - but it's useful for some people if they treat it as such.
