NEW SHOW(S) UPDATE

We know initially we put out a post asking for your preference between One Punch Man and Frieren, but after hours of discussion, we feel that it would be better to start with One Punch Man (2 episodes a week) so that we can react to Season 3 when it comes out later this year.
To be transparent, we're a small channel and always looking for opportunities to grow. Sometimes, navigating the YouTube algorithm means we have to be strategic about the content we choose. We personally feel that One Punch Man will help us with traction and growth more, so we've decided to lock this in as the third show in our roster.
We hope you understand our decision and are as excited as we are about this new journey! Stay tuned for the first SIX episodes of One Punch Man, which will be uploaded next week (~Thurs/Fri)!

AS A SIDE NOTE - We will also be reacting to Arcane, look out for the first THREE episodes starting on 8/9! I've (Dennis) already seen the show, but I've been wanting Ashley to watch this show for literally years now and we want to make sure we can watch Season 2 when it comes out on 11/2!

We definitely will watch Frieren at some point! We decided on One Punch Man mostly because of S3 coming out later this year

2024-07-21 17:29:10 +0000 UTCI think Frieren is the more popular anime these days. As a person who watch other people's reactions to my favorite anime, I expect tears of joy and sadness. IMHO OPM does not deliver these emotions in such quantity. It's very good as a comedy anime. It made me laugh a few years ago, but I forgot about it (I still read OPM manga) and I won't look for other people's reactions. Frieren is different because she has the same emotions as One Piece - I think it will stand the test of time. I have often thought that people who watch other people's reactions to their favorite shows are like emotional vampires who want to experience those emotions again one more time.
