King in MCU- CH-84. Lightly Abusing the Thing

The Fantastic Four are considered to be the first superheroes to acknowledge their identities in public, or in other words... after they gained their powers, they never thought about concealing or hiding their identities. They can be considered the most well-known superheroes.

Especially after Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, lost his ability, the news coverage was intense, and Johnny had not gone out for several days. Once he did, he would be pestered by reporters and asked all kinds of questions. Today, the Invisible Woman and Mr. Fantastic were not at home, and Johnny wanted to eat Chinese food again, but Ben, the Thing, was out for a run. Among the Fantastic Four, Ben is the most low-key and the one who appears least in public.

Because he was not like the others who had abilities and still kept their original appearance, he felt somewhat inferior and was even more reluctant to show up and attract attention. Johnny had lost his abilities, and everyone was trying to persuade him and coax him, so Ben had to go out and buy things himself. Although he was wearing a hat and a windbreaker, he was recognized as soon as he stepped out.

At first, they were just ordinary people who were curious and asked a few questions, taking some photos, but later, reporters appeared out of nowhere and surrounded Ben. The microphones next to them kept banging at him, making him very annoyed. But he couldn't say or do anything. He just hoped to leave as soon as possible and quickly finish buying his things!

As he was walking, Ben suddenly saw someone!

Someone he was familiar with!

Michael!

"It was him. He was the one who devoured Johnny's abilities and turned Johnny into the decadent person he is now."

"It was him. It was him who caused Susan to blame herself. I don't know where she went."

"It's him! It's him who caused me to be surrounded by these reporters now!"

The more Ben thought about it, the angrier he got. He suddenly shoved the microphone next to him away and rushed towards Michael. The reporters were staggered by Ben's actions, but they were not angry. Instead, they were very excited.

The Thing is going crazy and attacking reporters?

This is great news.

Such is the integrity of these journalists...

"Michael… stop right there!"

Ben shouted at Michael, who frowned slightly and stopped.

At this moment, everyone realized that the reason why Ben went crazy was probably because of the person in front of him. Who was this?

Many people speculated curiously, and some even started recording excitedly. This was a rare scene!

The Thing's footsteps made the ground tremble, even causing it to crack. Looking at the Thing charging toward him, Michael remained calm. His calmness was in stark contrast to the Thing's anger.

"What's up?"

Michael's indifferent question almost made the Thing explode with rage.

He never expected that the first thing Michael would ask when he saw him was "Is there anything wrong? Don't you know we are enemies?" Ben, who wanted to say something, was speechless. He raised his fist and aimed it at Michael's face!

"Ah..."

The people around screamed. They didn't expect the Thing to take action. They were even more worried about Michael, as he looked like just an ordinary person.

Crack! Crack!

Some experienced journalists had already taken photos of the moment.

However, to everyone's surprise, Michael simply jumped back lightly to avoid Ben's fist, frowning and looking a little displeased.

After missing the first blow, Ben became even angrier and prepared to rush forward with another punch.

But this time, his fist was forced to stop just after it was thrown, and his hand was caught by Michael. Then, Michael turned his back and threw the Thing out directly.

The massive body flew at least one meter above the ground, shooting straight out.

Cries of surprise rang out everywhere. Michael tapped the ground with his feet and rushed after the Thing. He raised his right leg in mid-air and chopped down directly!

Bang!

The Thing was smashed into the ground instantly, and a huge pit was formed in the hard road. A powerful airflow spread out, shaking the people around. Ben felt that his entire body was about to fall apart, unable to believe that Michael's strength was so immense! Looking at Michael standing next to the pit, he struggled angrily and tried to get up, only to suddenly see a huge hammer appear in Michael's hand.

Michael raised his hand and swung the hammer down.

Ben quickly put his arms in front of him.

The hammer struck his arms, causing his body to sink slightly.

Once, twice!

Michael continued swinging his hammer like he was playing whack-a-mole.

At first, Ben could still resist, but gradually, his arms dropped, and he could no longer hold on.

After about twenty hits, Michael stopped to take a look, then put away the hammer, turned around, and left.

Click, Click…

The flashes of light blinded Michael, and the people around him looked at him in shock, as if they couldn't believe he had defeated the Thing so easily. Shaking his head, Michael quickly merged into the crowd and soon disappeared.

"Ah..."

Suddenly, someone shouted excitedly, "I know who he is. Oh my God, remember the man who killed Doctor Octopus? That's him!"

"Isn't he a superhero? Why is he fighting with the Thing? It looks like they have a grudge against each other!"

"It was the Thing who started it."

"Did you see that? He's so cool!"

The people around were all excited. But they didn't forget the Thing. More than a dozen people hurriedly lifted the Thing out of the pit, panting from exhaustion. He was just too heavy!

Ben woke up, squinting his eyes, shaking his head, and looked at the concerned faces around him. It made him feel a little better.

Although he hated these reporters, who would hate the attention?

"Are you okay? Is everything okay?"

"No problem, thank you!"

The Thing struggled to stand up. His stone body had a very strong ability to withstand blows.

"Since you're fine, can you tell me why you attacked that man just now? Who is he? Is there any grudge between you two?" a reporter asked hurriedly.

The Thing suddenly realized he had been overthinking. They probably just cared about the news.
