I did research for 3 hours yesterday with help from Ai out of the 114 horses in the game 10 died because of racing from 2 years old to 15 years old (a horse career starts at 2 years old and ends at 4 or 5) and of the 10 only 2 died the same day of the race because of broken leg which they can't heal from so they got put down. If you are asking how many are still alive about 33 because horses only live 20 to 20 years and the grading system for horse races in japan started 40 years ago so many died of old age and illness that come from aging. 2025-07-23 19:15:46 +0000 UTCI wanted to let you know that season 1 is the least accurate in the series in the way it takes creative liberties on horses thst are not supposed to be in the races but overall the results and the margin they win by seems to be accurate for the most part. This season goes by to fast to understand how important the races are, because they focused on slice of life rather than the races because this was the first thing they made in 2018 the season 2 and beyond came at the beginning of 2021 till now. it is weak compared to everything else in the franchise.
