i think the story said that satella was only sealed and not killed. Echidna even stated that she killed all of the witches in like episode 2. So the other witches are dead, satella not really.

We'll wait for the end of the season for more cut content. We're thinking we might watch some of the cut content videos from other creators on YouTube

Great discussion, as always.
So to answer your question about yandere Emilia: yes, it was Emilia, her mind broke because she kept attempting the trial over and over while Subaru was away.
The piece of cloth that Graham mentioned was Subaru's jacket, which he left with her so she would cling to it instead of him whilst he went to Roswaal. Kudos to you, not many catch on this detail.
One of you mentioned about Emilia being a conduit to Satella, it would make more sense for Subaru to be the conduit, since he can invoke the witch by speaking the taboo words, as well as having RbD.
About the witches: in the castle of dreams each witch has her own 'shard' of reality, but Echidna is the supervisor, it's problematic for all of them to appear in one, as she is afraid others might take control instead of her. A bit of cut lore content that is not ever going to be mentioned or relevant: originally Sekhmet was supposed to be the supervisor, but this pact with Volcanica (The divine dragon that protects the kingdom) was made with Echidna instead because Sekhmet kept clashing with him.
Carmilla, the witch of lust was 17 or 18 at the moment of her death, so she isn't a child.
Yellow flowers on Satella are hyacinths, they tend to symbolize jealousy, a cool detail from the artist imho.
Daphne's Iron Maiden bug thing was actually a witchfiend, which has no mind of it's own. It feeds on any bodily waste.
There was also one major thing cut out (and yes, I checked with the source material this time to be sure), but I don't know if I should type it out, let me know and I'll probably DM you with it instead. Next episode will have even bigger and more important stuff cut out...

I liked that you instantly understood what Echidnas "true" intention behind the contract were. Her greed for knowledge combined with her willingness to experiment on human desires (like Beatrice’s) is extremely twisted. Giving her the power to experience literary EVERYTHING this world has to offer has such terrifying implications for Subaru. I think her part of the contract can be indefinitely delayed as “in the end” means “after experiencing an infinite number of possible timelines”. That reminds of a the concept of a “Supertask” because Subarus lifetime is limited but can be filled with infinit "lifetimes"🫤
