Monday Update: New Look, Same Kitten
Added 2024-06-17 13:00:17 +0000 UTCFelicia is back and looking better than ever in the upcoming update. She has received a complete visual overhaul with a new model, clothing, expressions, and two original scenes to mark the occasion.
As for the state of the game, I have continued forward with the path I established last week. There is now a mix of scenes added to the game. Some are AI art, some are text only. Once this next update drops, I will host a poll soon after the release for patrons of the $5 tier and above to vote for both an AI art scene as well as a text only scene to be recreated with original art.
Finally, I have remained quiet on the expected release date for this update because if I'm being honest: I had no idea how long it would take. My tentative release date for this new update is currently sometime next month. That being said, I want to be transparent and set expectations properly.
This upcoming update will have a higher focus on quality versus quantity. This is due to the inherent time constraints surrounding original art, but also because I am not trying to reach an arbitrary number of scenes like I had set for myself in the past updates. Rather, I am trying to progress to a sensible point that feels good to stop at. If it sounds like I am experimenting a lot with how I approach creating this game, that's because I am.
