2023-10-01 13:04:45 +0000 UTCNot just as a Dragon Ball fan, but as a writer, this is one of my absolute favorite episodes. All of the innuendo is so beautifully done that yes, younger viewers can watch it but only the adults will really get it which is an impressive balance to pull off, especially the way you did. But the character development here is perfection. You addressed how your Dende was shaped by his different experience on Namak, you gave a great moment to Trunks and Piccolo that is so under appreciated, you gave Grandpa Gohan a cameo, but you all know 16's scene is a crowning moment, and by placing it in this episode it makes it hit even better. I'm with TotallyNotMark on this one "Android 16's backstory is officially canon. Fuck you, fight me."
