Kaiser hit a home run playing Trunks. Just like I can't imagine anyone other than Lani playing Vegeta, I can't imagine anyone but Kaiser playing Trunks.

2023-02-20 22:13:55 +0000 UTCThis whole intro of Trunks makes me wish I had been even remotely interested in DBZ when I was a kid. At that time, I was more into stuff like the animated Batman series from Bruce Timm. DBZ-A is what got me interested in Dragon Ball in general, and got me to watch the whole original run start to finish, and that's probably the reason why I tend to think it surpassed the original by far. Still, I can only imagine how crazy it must've felt to see this character showing up for the first time, straight-up cutting Frieza in tiny pieces before knowing who he was.
