DemonDome V0.9.2
Added 2025-04-13 16:30:06 +0000 UTCChangelog:
Night activity rework:
Get a simplified selection of available partners showing types of actions.
Certain actions/encounters in the day can guarantee certain characters/categories to appear.
After choosing a partner, you can spend ap on multiple actions.
Unused ap will lower your exhaustion by that amount.
Can learn from partner's skill pool. Each character has a unique card keyword you can only get as/from their max friend training.
Ending:
Faster pacing. Strikes needed for elimination lowered to 2.
After 4 finalists have been selected, you need to win in a tournament. (only 2 weeks instead of 3)
After winning that, you can choose a partner to join you in a special area.
You'll get access to special training for that week and have to defeat a boss based on your chosen class. (currently just buffed overseers)
Full game is now about 10 weeks until final battle.
Progression:
Only Avy starts unlocked.
Other characters are unlocked by doing achievements. (can cheat unlock all in menu to test if wanted)
Can choose a trait before starting.
Unlock new traits by beating specific achievements with that character.
Added basic ascension system foundation.
Keeps track of highest win for each character/class combination.
Combat:
Climaxes add random lust cards to the deck for the remaining battle. (immediately plausible to win through sex with starting deck)
Triggered during the active players turn, they get better versions. Enemies get worse cards with ap penalty.
Sexual status effects simplified.
Single stat points are more impactful:
Stat checks are now done by comparing random values from 0 to the relevant stat. Bonuses only increase the maximum. (instead of d20+bonus value)
Pain checks compare endurance vs an increasing value starting at 0. + 2 every turn.
Added win conditions for vines/frost.
water dmg adds to vine duration instead of damaging it.
electric dmg only damages adjacent wet parts, but only consumes wet on target.
frost consumes wet duration to extend applied frost.
Added a bunch of upgrade options to skills.
Reputation:
Removed fear as a stat. You now have a general reputation that affects job opportunities and character appearances etc.
Increases through volunteer work etc. Decreases through crimes / causing injuries / breaking rules in combat (once per fight).
When high, can spend it to gain permanent princess/prime boons. (Random one appears at night if conditions are met)
Other:
Each week has a chance to have a special effect active.
Morning craft actions can be stockpiled.
Can load save at any point.
Many bugfixes/small changes.
Current status:
Basically playable from start to finish with unlockables/achievements.
12 main characters with unique mechanics.
A lot of character art is probably still a placeholder.
Most clothing types are missing for most characters, but generally one set available.
A lot of rarer abilities don't have their upgrade options, sometimes making them less effective then upgraded basic actions.
Missing a lot of content amount for stuff like exploration/dates etc.
Missing interesting boss fights/creatures to fight/tame.
Not many unique abilities for characters, but direction vaguely there.
Balance not tested much and enemies with few clothing options are very weak.

that's supposed to be the place in the ranking, but I likely also forgot about that number.

2025-04-29 02:44:16 +0000 UTCThis is a really good. I love how promising this is. I shared Anbcdeptrai's confusion about the mechanics initially though. Hitting people causes eventual limb failure, which causes pain . Hitting with seduction cards causes lust to increase, which however does not lead to a direct score increase. That decreasing lust resistance, i.e. filling the lust bar will add +10 to the score is only communicated via the tooltip, like most of the mechanics. Some things seem to be never made explicit - that the yellow numbers represent stamina cost, the blue ones mana. What the numbers in the top row in the first fight mean, I could not figure out yet, the ones between the words "Preliminary" and the oopponent name.

2025-04-25 13:51:46 +0000 UTCWhat do you mean? For combat, you use your cards on enemy parts. Hitchance is based on some stat roll comparisons. Your cards have 2 sides you can toggle between with right-click. For overall progression, you need to gain score to not be among the last 3 at the end of the week.
