Combat animations/pictures?
Added 2019-08-12 22:24:53 +0000 UTC3 Questions about the combat lewd stuff in one poll. The idea of them is to be based on the characters bodies, bodypart sizes etc. to have a bunch of differnt combinations to add some sort of discovery to battles. With close ups like that it shouldn't actually require too many pictures to have every combination make sense (+same pics could be used to accompany sextraining/breeding etc.)
1. Do you generally like/care about it ?
2. Should the color be like it is currently (a bit weird ambiguous color/monochrome, but could technically fit any species) or fixed based on bodytype (one color for all humanoid/centaur etc.)
3. Quality vs quantity?

I think the concept is cool. Personally I prefer them to be less generalized (special interactions sounds like a real reason to pay attention to them consistently) but at the same time I tend to keep animations disabled due to "animation lock". It would be nice if there was a sort of "mid-combat" disable to animation lock. Holding the Space button speeds up combat but lust animations still take up a considerable amount time especially when both sides of combat have a significant amount of lust actions. I think an option for a toggle to alter the way Space functions (when pressed immediately skips to the next combatant and when held overrides all animation playback) would be ideal to get through more tedious parts of combat and allow players to sort of slow down the pace when special interactions may be anticipated.

I like to optimise the way I play and one thing I do is make my characters fuck each other in combat when possible, for example with their remaining AP after the last enemy is defeated. I would love to enable the animations and I will surely re enable them from time to time but I cannot play with them constantly without being able to cancel them.

2019-08-21 03:01:32 +0000 UTCin my opinion the combat animations are one of those features that are cool and can add a lot to a game but are not high priority. so if you are motivated to put a lot of work into it you should probably do it, but its fine if it stays simple. its a nice addition either way :-)
