Maincharacter
Added 2018-02-20 21:07:02 +0000 UTCI could split the maincharacter images/scenes into 3 parts with reasonable logic, making it possible to customize without having to do too much work
1: Basic human form: chosen at the start (female/futa/male). This is how you interact in town/with npcs etc. (most drawn scenes will be for these). Could be explained by trying to conceal the transformation powers.
2: Combat form: What you currently chose in the transformation screen (selecting species etc.) and will be used in explorations/combat or breeding. Only very few scenes with town npcs (maybe every npc will have like a few special interests once you reach a certain trust level where you tell her about yourself)
3: Advanced human form: completely customisable (bodytype, hair, titsize, cocksize, special attributes, etc.) with representing picture. Wouldnt effect most drawn/town scenes, but written scenes like breeding etc. Can be used for breeding. You could unlock special parts through skilltrees of related species (Centaur for huge cock etc.).
Changing between any of those form types doesnt take any ingame time, so it would make sense to unlock stuff for the advanced human form to fill certain preference requirements, even if you could get any of those traits through normal transformations.
You won't have to manually switch between those forms constantly.
Any opinions?

The 3rd form would be the normal human form with adaptations of other features, meaning that you are so familiar wth them that you could also change those parts freely. So logically the first and third form take the same "slot". For combat it would be cool to have certain skills/traits/stat bonuses based on chosen bodyparts, but it might be a bit weird because I'd also have to layered combat sprites representing the changes

2018-02-21 08:20:25 +0000 UTCHaving a base human form that you can transform into at will is very helpful for drawn scenes and can be justified in the story: it is your original apearance and morfing into it is easier. But I don't see why/how the creature form and customized humanoid form would be separate. On the mechanics side, I would like to be able to both fight and breed as the different specie, but I'd also like to breed and fight as the customized chimera. On the story side, I'm not sure how to justify that you can switch between these forms at will, but it takes half an hour and some efforts to change between normal species. TL;DR: I'd like the 2nd and 3rd forms to use the same "slot", so you cannot change between them freely.

2018-02-21 07:26:45 +0000 UTCI like this idea a lot - it helps explain why the PC is human to begin with, and has lots more room for customization. Also, less micromanagement is always better. You add in multi-arm/head options, and you've got my vote for president.

2018-02-21 01:40:30 +0000 UTCMaybe you can unlock genes for basespecies for a few skillpoints. (getting a relatively high fertility/virility character for otherwise badly breedable species). Not sure how I even explain offsprings yet (not a fan of pregnancy)(Probably just some "the connection of these characters caused a random portal into another dimension to open and pulled out a character based on the genetic properties which caused it" nonsense to explain how they're adults and spawn instantly with set personalities etc.).

2018-02-21 01:32:35 +0000 UTCAny possibilities to maintain monster genes while in human form ? (Don't ask me how you can pop out a centaur in human form but hey !) Otherwise everithing seems fine ! You talk in lore that being found out would be bad, do you plan to make events about that depending on our forms ?
