It's a hell of a coincidence that this chapter is being released in June!

That's right, we see a return (of sorts) of a certain RO many readers care deeply about—one way or the other! This chapter has two main branches, depending on how you feel about Junko/Jun, and I definitely encourage you EA folks to read both sides to get a fuller grasp over their relationship.

Something to really focus on isn't Junko/Jun at all: it's how MC changes in their presence. MC has a dynamic with each character in the story, and it's their presence that brings a different aspect of MC out. With Masa we see more of a protective, almost fatherly/motherly aspect, while with someone like Hatch, they're best bros.

Junko/Jun is an exception because they can bring out two very different aspects of MC. Both have a lot in common of course, as the bonds between Sensei's two students go back further than anyone else in the story, but we see it expressed in two different ways.

The pressure to blurt out scenes, spray and pray style, with a fan favorite like Junko/Jun is definitely there. Other authors build their careers catering to this—even if it means sacrificing the story and the spirit of the characters themselves in order to do so. There's no shortage of readers who would happily accept a trade like this in order to get their tingles. Hell, you might be one of them!

But I'm not built that way. The story and character development of MC is just too important for me to undermine. It's the reason I write! So I was very happy during the outlining phase of the Academy Arc when I found the perfect narrative opportunity for MC and Junko/Jun's reunion to occur.
