So, uh… This is awkward…
Hey what’s up, everybody! It’s your favorite frequent update posting content creator with some more information on where we’re going with Cum Flu XXX. Err… Kung Fu XXX.
So I know I haven’t been posting much regarding Kung Fu XXX, in fact, the last post I made regarding it (not counting my Discord shenanigans) was in March. Yeesh… But during that time, I haven’t been sitting around doing nothing. The whole quarantine thing gave me a lot of time to develop concepts and test a few of them.
Something I figured out is that while my voice for characters is really good, the actual writing done on my end is laughable. The concepts are good, but if we’re being honest, the wedgies came too early and were forced (not only time wise, but also on those that don’t care for wedgies). I’ve spent a fair amount of time trying to get input from multiple people (you know who you are). Among these people is Ghostgunner, who is being put in a Co-Designer position. Writing simply comes easier to him and it doesn’t take nearly as long for him to come up with an equally good idea as it does for me. He’s helped in multiple areas, ranging from the combat to side quests to concepts in general. A lot of the input everyone gives me makes this whole development thing significantly easier. But we could honestly care less about how hard the work is, so long as it gets done. Right? Right.
Anyways, this post marks our first TLC-era Development Update, so I’m resetting the numbers of both Dev Posts and Mini Dev Posts to zero.
Now, as for what we’ve been working on, lots of concept stuff. The nice thing about Pre-TLC Kung Fu XXX is that we were already into production, but that ended up biting the story in the ass. So we’re being more careful now, by pre-typing events, making concept art, and making little tests. All of which I plan on giving out to you guys soon.
As a teaser for what’s coming, here is a clothed speed made of Wing Wu:
The concepts I’m currently making are all subject to change. This one is no different, as I have some proportion changes I’d like to do. But the colors are accurate to the concept art of Wing Wu (previously named Yu Wu)

Prior to this change, I was using the color palette that Daigaijin used for their Better Late Than Never comic. As it stands, I’d like to have the concept art outfits as default in game, but with the option to choose Daigaijin’s Wu Sister outfits as alternates.
That pretty much sums up a decent amount of what we’ve been doing behind the scenes. There’s way more than just this, but that is to be shown within the next 7 days. Also been thinking about starting up the monthly art again, I’m just not entirely sure how to go about it since I was scrambling for ideas that didn’t show off things that were supposed to happen later in the story. Ghostgunner suggested that we could do stills from Side Quests, which could be voted on. The final piece would be released to all patrons, but W.I.P parts would be released to $10 patrons, with PSDs and Clip files being available for the higher tier patrons. This also brings up the possibility of changing up the tiers, but that will need some planning.
Anyways, hope everyone has a good Wednesday and is looking forward to more. ^^
