One of the clients for the wyvernlings requested two illustrations. In the midst of all the chaos, I marked the client down in my list and continued working on the little guys. When it was finally their turn, I noticed that for two orders, there were only three characters provided (instead of the required four)—one of them was repeated. In other words, the client effectively reduced my workload by half, as there was no need to redraw one of the characters twice.
Since the payment had already been made and it was too late to discuss other terms, I decided to make a "light" sketch as a gift in my spare time.
I thought this would be a nice bonus in the situation. And the rule "If you can do more—do it" is my life motto, even if it doesn’t always work out in my favor :D
